Happy to Be Me is the seventeenth episode of Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel, the second season of Power Rangers Ninja Steel and the final episode before the three-part Reaching the Nexus Saga. This episode marks the debut of the Gold Ranger's Super Star Mode and the Ninja Blaze Ultrazord.
Synopsis[]
One of Madame Odius’ generals, Tynamon, seizes a Ninja Power Star and attempts to steal Levi’s voice to unlock its power.
Plot[]
The episode begins in the Warrior Dome, with General Tynamon presenting his newest plan to Madame Odius: using the Ninja Fusion Star, which he stole from the previous episode, with her magic mallet to combine six Skullgators into one very powerful monster. However, Badonna points out that the plan won't work since the stars only respond to the Rangers' voices. Tynamon claims that he can steal a voice.
The Rangers are training in their secret base and Levi is about to test a new star that Mick made when Tynamon shows up and swaps his voice with Levi's.
In school, the Rangers are speculating on why Tynamon stole Levi's voice when Victor and Monty begin teasing Levi for his voice. The Rangers lie that he's sick and the disease is contagious to get them off his back. Levi tries to get Preston to find a spell to help him get his voice back. Preston finds a spell that he thinks will do the trick but actually makes Levi into a kid. The Rangers, minus Levi, have to leave to fight Tynamon.
Tynamon's uses the Ninja Fusion Star, and Levi's voice, to combine six Skullgators that Cosmo sends down to create Megamauler. The Rangers form the Ninja Steel Megazord, which Megamauler overwhelms with ease. The five then retreat to come up with a plan. An enraged Tynamon then shrinks Megamauler, who escapes onto the ship to avoid being killed. Tynamon gives chase.
Meanwhile, a child Levi is walking near the park when a group of boys begin picking on him. A girl stands up for him and helps him feel better.
Everyone returns to the ship and Levi reveals that he came to terms with his new voice. Preston realizes that the spell he used earlier to cure Levi got tangled with Tynamon's spell, so he finds a separation spell to return Levi to normal. It works; Levi is an adult again and gets his voice back.
On the Warrior Dome, Tynamon finds Megamauler when he realizes that the Rangers broke the spell. He tricks Megamauler to come with him to destroy the Rangers.
When the Rangers and the duo meet once again, Levi uses his new Superstar Mode to destroy Megamauler and get back the Fusion Star from Tynamon.
However, Cosmo Gigantifies Megamauler. The Rangers this time form the Ninja Blaze Megazord, but Megamauler beats that to. The Rangers come up with a new combination: the Ninja Blaze Ultrazord, a combination of the Ninja Blaze Megazord, the Lion Fire Zord, and the Bull Rider Megazord. They use it to destroy Megamauler.
The Rangers are now walking around the park and the girl from earlier sees Levi. The boys picking on him earlier apologize to the girl for excluding her.

Errors[]
- The shots of Brody and Levi using their Power Stars to form the Blaze Ultrazord are misused. Brody is shown using his regular Ninja Star Blade instead of the Ninja Master Blade when spinning the Lion Fire Zord Star and the Ninja Ultra Star. Levi’s shot uses the Ninja Master Mode Star in his default form, rather than the Bull Rider Zord Star in Ninja Super Steel Mode.
- When Cosmo sends down the six Skullgators, he presses the blue button used for Gigantifying monsters. This is the second time that this error occurred. The first time was from Badonna in "Prepare to Fail".
- Brody and Preston switch positions after morphing during the first battle with Megamauler.
- When Brody mentions combining the Megazords together, he refers to the Ninja Blaze Megazord as the Blaze Megazord.
Notes[]
- Hayley mentions the time she turned invisible which is what happened to her in Abrakadanger.
- The part where Levi becomes ten years old again is a reference to what happened to all civilians in the two-part episode "Rangers Back in Time" in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and in Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers.
- Interestingly, a few weeks earlier, the Lupinrangers were turned into children.
- This episode was originally titled "Wrong Path".
- This episode marks the final appearance of Skullgators.
- Brax is absent from this episode.
- Levi takes back the Ninja Fusion Star after defeating Tynamon and returns it to Brody.
- Although Levi is the latest Ranger to be turned into a child, this is the only time it was done by a teammate rather than a villain.
- The spell that Preston uses to turn Levi back to normal is actually a sentence said backwards:
Separated and be dispelled,
magic of two kinds.
