Zordon's Energy Wave
From Power Rangers Universe
Zordon's Energy Wave that is released on the destruction of Zordon's energy tube is one of the most powerful plot devices that has ever been used in any Power Rangers episode. The death of such a benevolent character (considering that death had been previously unheard of on a Power Rangers episode), released a wave of good energy that purged the galaxy of the evil that was threatening it. The following characters were affected:
- Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd and Divatox are transformed into normal human beings.
- Ecliptor, Elgar, and the Machine Empire are all disintegrated and reduced to piles of sand.
- Quantrons, Pirahnatrons, and all the monsters are similarly turned to sand (a list of monsters featured in the episode is included below).
- The Space Rangers are demorphed.
Note that Dark Specter and Darkonda had both already been destroyed in a conflict with each other shortly before the wave began. Astronema was restored to human-form as Karone after the wave passed by her.
