Dr. Thomas "Tommy" Oliver is a veteran Power Ranger and considered a legend among the Ranger community. Originally used for evil by Rita Repulsa, Tommy quickly turned good and helped the Rangers in defeating the forces of darkness. In doing so, not only did Tommy prove himself to be a worthy ally, but he became exactly the kind of leader the Rangers needed. Therefore, when the original leader of the Power Rangers, Jason Lee Scott, chose to leave, he left Tommy in command.

Tommy has gone through a number of power variations through the years. Originally, he was the Green Power Ranger. When those powers ran dry, he became the White Power Ranger, the White Ninja Ranger, the Red Zeo Ranger, and the Red Turbo Ranger. Whatever color he chooses, Tommy's skill and bravey is unmatched by any other in the Ranger community.

After Tommy's tenure as a Ranger was completed, he went to college where he received a Doctorate in Palentology. He later traveled to Reefside and, in an effort to stop some of his mutations, became the mentor of a new set of Power Rangers. He later took up the mantle of a ranger once more and became the Black Dino Ranger. After Tommy's adversary was defeated, he retired and now a normal high school teacher at Reefside.

Little is known about Tommy's early years, other than the fact that he was adopted by the Oliver family at a young age. His brother, David, was adopted by Sam Trueheart, although the two would not meet until in their teens. At some point in his life, Tommy took an interest in karate and became a master at it.

While he was a freshman in high school, Tommy and his family moved to Angel Grove. He enters a martial arts tournament and shows everyone that he has skills that rival Jason's. Rita Repulsa notices this encounter and realizes that there is potential in the young Tommy Oliver. Therefore, she places Tommy under a spell, and using her Dragon Power Coin, transforms him into the evil Green Power Ranger. Tommy then travels to the Command Center and puts Zordon out of commission. He then fights the Power Rangers and defeats them.

Seeking the Rangers at the weakest, Rita decides that the time to attack is now. She gives Tommy the Sword of Darkness, which acts as a catalyst for keeping him under her evil spell. She then tells Tommy to transport Jason into the Dark Dimension, where he shall face him and Goldar. Jason manages to narrowly escape their grasp.

While the Rangers are defending Angel Grove from a monster attack, Tommy enters the Command Center, and attempts to sabotage it again. Alpha 5 places him in a stasis lock, but he is freed by Rita who makes him grow. He then joins Golden & Scorpina in fighting the Megazord, as Rita just cast a spell to removed the Megazord's power. The Megazord separates and the Dinozords fall. When the Rangers retreat into the Command Center, Alpha reveals that the stasis lock the Green Ranger was kept in, allowed him true identity to be revealed—that of Tommy Oliver.

Realizing that Rita's spell is the reason for Tommy's strange behavior, Kimberly confronts him in the Youth Center, but he simply informs her that she and the other Rangers will soon be destroyed. Utilizing his Dragon Dagger that he received from Rita, the Green Ranger summons the Dragonzord to destroy Angel Grove. In the meantime, Zordon's link with the dimension is reestablished and Megazord is recovered. Jason and the others manage to take down the Dragonzord and, when facing the Green Ranger, destroy the Sword of Darkness and free him from Rita's spell. Realizing all the damage he has done, Tommy accepts the Ranger's offer to join them.

Initially Tommy stayed a loner. He would join the others Rangers in some activities, but often left to go to karate practice. As the battles increased, Tommy became closer to the team and formed friendships with them. He admired Zack's sense of fun, Trini's dedication, and Billy's intelligence. Tommy also developed a crush on Kimberly though she didn't return his affections for some time.

Tommy's friendship with Jason took a little longer to develop. In the beginning, Tommy felt a sense of rivalry between him and Jason, as both were equally skilled at martial arts. He constantly tried to show up Jason in one manner or the other. Zordon was aware of the problem and sent the two on a mission for Titanis. It was there that Tommy and Jason learned to work together. The two formed a deep bond and began teaching martial arts together as well as competing together. Tommy absorbed a lot of Jason's leadership skills which would help Tommy down the road.

While working for Rita Repulsa, Tommy touched some magic wax, which was now linked to his Morphing powers. By turning the wax into a Green Candle, Rita was able to ensure that as the candle burns, his powers would slowly fade away, and when the candle burns out, his powers would be gone for good.

Rita sends a Cyclops monster after the Rangers. Tommy decided that he would fight the monster alone while the other Rangers went to retrieve the candle. Jason went into Rita's Dark Dimension to stop the candle from burning but was unable to do so. With Tommy using all his strength to fight the Cyclops monster, the Green candle quickly burned out. Before all is lost, though, Tommy passes his Dragonzord Power Coin onto Jason. The Red Ranger can now draw upon the remnants of the Green powers to summon the Dragonzord and used the golden chest shield.

Tommy says his goodbyes to the teammates, but they assure Tommy that he'll alway be a Power Ranger in spirit. Tommy assures Jason that it wasn't his fault for not retrieving the green powers, as he tried his best to.

Even though Tommy was no longer the Green Ranger, he still managed to stay friends with the rest of the Rangers and maintained his relationship with Kimberly.

During Parent's Day at the Youth Center, Rita Repulsa decided to trap all the Ranger teens and their parents in her Dark Dimension. Rita and her minions tell the Rangers that they will trade their parents for their Power Coins. Reluctantly, the Rangers agree, but Goldar double-crosses them. When it seems like there's no hope left, Jason realizes that there is still one Power Coin left, the nearly depleted Dragon Coin.

When Tommy comes to the Youth Center and finds the place deserted, he is immediately teleported to the Command Center, and debriefed about the situation. He's given his Power Coin back with energy from Zordon himself. Tommy then morphs into the Green Ranger and succeeds in regaining the other 5 Coins and the parents. After the mission is completed, Tommy learns that the Green Ranger's powers are only temporary and that they will run out eventually.

Returning as the Green Ranger, Tommy helped the Rangers in fighting various monsters. He received regular recharges from Zordon in order to maintain his power. Tommy no longer kept a low profile and became more dependent on the Rangers, helping to unify the team. Tommy also began to do more activities with the Rangers, such as martial arts, basketball, and football.

However, all his happiness would change when a new villain, Lord Zedd, emerged. Zedd swore that he would put an end to the Power Rangers once and for all. He was determined to succeed where Rita failed. When Zedd succeeded in destroying the Dinozords, Zordon charged them to become Thunderzords. With Tommy not having enough energy for his own Thunderzord, Zedd decided it would be best to destroy him first.

Tommy continued on as best he good but he soon began to have bad dreams about losing his powers. Lord Zedd was behind the bad dreams. He captured Tommy and placed him under an evil spell. Tommy, with the other Rangers, return to the Power Chamber. Encouraging them to called upon the Sword of Power he then snatch it from them. Taunting the other Rangers he left and gave the sword to Goldar. Once he gave the sword to Goldar, the spell was broken. Tommy could not believe what he had done. The Rangers managed to defeat Goldar and Lord Zedd and gain control of the Sword of Power.

In his heart Tommy knew that each day could be his last day as a Ranger. Despite the continuous draining of his powers, Tommy always chose to fight alongside the other Rangers. He would rather help his friends and lose his powers, than keep them and do nothing. Although he showed tremendous courage, he always felt that the end of the Green Ranger was near. Unfortunately, he was right.

One day, Tommy confronted an image of himself that warned him of Zedd's future plans. Initially he didn't know what to make of it. Sure enough, he was captured again and had to battle Goldar without his powers. As Goldar showed Tommy visions of him as the powerful Green Ranger, Tommy hung his head. With Goldar mocking him, Tommy knew he would never let Goldar get the best of him again and sprung a surprise attack on Goldar. Finding the object his image had told him about, Tommy was whisked back to the other Rangers and helped them in another battle against Zedd's newly created Dark Rangers. This would be his last battle as the Green Ranger and at the end his powers were gone for good. Tommy was crushed and disappointed, but he knew that time would eventually come. To gain some perspective, he went to his uncle's cabin near the lake to spend the school break.

After a week at his uncle cabin, Tommy send a letter to the rest of the Rangers to announce that he was coming home. While swimming at the lake one afternoon, a beam of light surrounded Tommy and he was teleported to the Command Center. Zordon and Alpha revealed their plans to him of creating a new Ranger, and because this Ranger would be created from White Light of Good, it would be impossible for the darkness to control him. When the other Rangers were telported to the Command Center, Tommy revealed himself to be the new White Power Ranger.

When the Teen World Summit came to Angel Grove and chose Jason, Zack, and Trini as their representatives for the peace conferences, Tommy became the new leader of the Power Rangers. Jason, Zack, and Trini transferred their powers to new Rangers—Rocky, Adam, and Aisha—who Tommy has met earlier on a retreat. Tommy was sad to see his old friends go but glad that the new Rangers were here to help him.

Plenty of adventures laid ahead. Tommy lost his memories, was turned back to a child, tossed into a storybook, turned into liquid, and turned into a brick, but throughout it all Tommy managed to keep his head cool.

After Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd married, Rita called upon the Wizard of Deception. She wanted him to create another Tommy, one who return to her side as the evil Green Ranger. The Wizard of Deception had putties attack Tommy. When they knocked him out, he cut off a lock of his hair and used it to create the evil Green Ranger. This evil Tommy worked with the Wizard of Deception to send the other Rangers back to colonial times.

Tommy woke up, and with his head pounding Tommy went looking for his friends. Learning that they had been sent back in time, Tommy confronted the evil Ranger. It was a fierce battle, but Tommy outwitted the Green Ranger and found out where the others had been sent. Quickly he went back to retrieve them. As with the original Tommy, once the Green Ranger's spell was broken he began to feel bad for what he had done. The one thing that Rita had forgotten was at the very core of Tommy is goodness. Tommy assures his double that he was under a spell and that he could not control his actions. The two Tommys returned to the colonial era to save the people there from giant rats. The second Tommy made the decision to stay where he was, realizing that two Tommys in one time frame wouldn't work. He was then christened Tom.

Once again new threats arise for Tommy. Rita's brother, Rito Revolto destroyed the Thunderzords and the Ranger powers. Therefore, the Rangers searched the Desert of Despair for Ninjor, the maker of the original Power Coins. With Ninjor's help, Tommy and the others gained Ninja Ranger powers, which would help them in many battles to come. Tommy began his quest as the White Ninja Ranger.

Having new Ninja powers wasn't going let Rita, Zedd, and Rito stop from planning to destroy the Rangers. Rita placed a spell over Katherine Hillard, a new student from Australia. They told her to become friends with the Rangers and help Rita in her evil schemes.

One day at the beach, Tommy caught Kimberly as she began to feel weak. Quickly he got her to the Command Center where it was discovered that Kimberly lost her power coin and was being drained of her energy. Having once been in a similar position, Tommy found himself worrying about Kimberly's well-being and safety. Then, Lord Zedd placed a trap for Kimberly and took her to his Dark Dimension. Tommy used Billy's teleporting machine to help get Kimberly out of there.

Tommy's worries over Kimberly were not over yet. When Kimberly had been hurt during gymnastics practice, Tommy was immediately at the hospital. Luckily Kat broke through Rita's evil spell and confessed to Kimberly what had happened. Tommy and the others heard her. Knowing what it was like being under one of Rita's evil spells, Tommy held no grudges against Kat and the damage she had inflicted.

Tommy's hardest day was yet to come. The coach who had been training Kimberly wanted her to come to Florida with him. Although Tommy did not want her to go, he also did not want to stand in the way of her dreams. He knew how hard she had worked for this. And he was afraid if he asked her to stay, she would eventually come to resent him for holding her back. They vowed to stay in contact with each other. Because of Katherine's dedication and courage, Kimberly chose to pass the Pink Power Coin onto her.

When Rito and Rita's father, Master Vile, showed up, he turned all the Rangers into little kids. In order to return to the correct time, Tommy was sent on a quest to retrieve the Zeo crystal. All the Rangers had gained their crystal with the exception of Aisha who chose to stay in Africa and instead send a young girl by the name of Tanya with her crystal. After the Rangers returned to the command center, they became their normal ages and gained new powers. Tommy would take the next step by becoming Zeo Ranger V - Red. Tommy would use these new powers to battle the evil of King Mondo, Queen Machina and their Machine Empire.

During his time as a Zeo Ranger, Tommy had a recurring dream about the man who guided him on his quest for the Zeo Crystal, Sam Trueheart. One day he bumped into a man who looked exactly like him. Tommy offers to drop Sam home, where he finds someone who looks remarkably similar to him. When Tommy goes after him, the man seems to vanish. Sam tells Tommy that once he completes his quest, the identity of the young man will be revealed.

Once Tommy completes the quest, he is surprised to find out that the young man, David Trueheart, is his brother. Tommy is thrilled to have a brother and quickly takes him to meet his friends. Originally everything is fine, but after Tommy defeats David in a karate match, David feels embarrassed and runs off. Feeling bad, Tommy goes after him only to find that he has been captured by King Mondo. Transforming into the Red Ranger, Tommy locates his brother and leads him to safety. David insists on going back to find Tommy. Although Tommy tries to convince David that he's okay, David will not give up. Reluctantly Tommy takes off his helmet and reveals his identity to a flabbergasted David.

When the Rangers are fighting Wolfbane, a monster sent by King Mondo, a Gold Ranger appears to help them out. The identity of the Gold Ranger remains a mystery for some time until he chooses to reveal himself as Trey of Triforia. Unfortunately, due to his molecular makeup, he was split into three with no way of being joined together. Trey needed a successor to carry on the powers and, with Billy not being able to handle the energy, Tommy needed to find someone else.

Luckily, Jason had returned from the peace conferences recently, so Tommy asked him if he would step in as the Gold Ranger. Knowing that King Mondo was also interested in the Gold Power, Jason agreed, and hurried back to the Command Center where the three Treys gave Jason the Golden Staff and the Gold Ranger powers.

Always being the target for the forces of evil, Tommy was abducted by the Machine Empire and brainwashed into working for them. Prince Gasket introduced himself and told Tommy that he was the King of the Machine Empire and that the Power Rangers were evil and needed to be destroyed. Tommy was reluctant to believe him, but after viewing images of the Rangers' destruction, Tommy knew that the Rangers had to be destroyed.

Jason and Kat found out that Tommy was being brainwashed and transported themselves to the arena where Tommy was. The Zeo Rangers fought Tommy, but realized that the only way to remove him from Prince Gasket's grasp was to show him who his friends were. They all demorphed in front of him. Seeing the familiar faces, Tommy began having old memories and knew that the Rangers were good.

After Billy left to live on Aquitar, and Jason lost his Gold Ranger powers, the Zeo Ranger team was quickly dismantled. After the space pirate Divatox kidnapped Tommy's friends, Kimberly and Jason, a new source of power had to be found to stop her, and thus, the Turbo Rangers were born.

Tommy stepped up and took his new position as the Red Turbo Ranger. With new villains came new allies. After Rocky chose to leave because of an accident, Justin became the Blue Turbo Ranger. The Rangers Quickly the Rangers went into action and approached the cave where Divatox was holding Kimberly and Jason. They found out that they were being sacrificed so that Divatox could marry Maligore, a hideous lava monster. Tommy was able to save his friends, and with the new Turbo Megazord, defeated the evil Maligore.

Because of the new Turbo powers, Tommy gained an interest in cars and began to spend a lot of time at the race track. As a result, he didn't attend his graduation ceremony, preferring to pick up his diploma earlier. This caused him to spend less time with the other Rangers, even though he was present whenever they needed them.

When Zordon and Alpha 5 chose to leave, Dimitria and Alpha 6 were assigned to watch over the Rangers. The new mentors didn't stop Divatox, who was determined to destroy the Rangers. Divatox had tried everything but nothing was met with success. One day, Divatox's mother told her that the best way to destroy the Rangers was to destroy their leader, Tommy.

Divatox sent Piranhatrons to attack Tommy and Kat, who were riding out ot meet Tanya, Adam and Justin for a camp out. The Piranhatrons abducted Tommy and took him to Divatox's lair.

Tommy was saved by Theodore Jay "T.J." Jarvis Johnson. Tommy was impressed by T.J.'s dedication and bravery, and owed his life to him. When Tommy and the other Rangers had to leave for college, Tommy chose T.J. as his successor.

After his tenure as a Ranger was over, Tommy went to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he decided to take a Doctorate in Paleontology. While researching fossils, Tommy found the Dino Gems, remnants of the asteroid which killed the dinosaurs 65 million years ago. After learning of the power the gems contained, Tommy knew that they would be misused if in the wrong hands, so he hid them.

Also in college, Tommy met Hayley, who helped him create the Dino Morphers, which could harness the gems' power to create Rangers. He was also partners with Terrence "Smitty" Smith and Dr. Anton Mercer on a dinosaur-related project that would lead to the creation of the Tyrannodrones, Raptor Riders and the Biozords. A horrible lab accident led to the destruction of the island where Tommy was hiding his experiment, and also to the disappearance of Anton Mercer and Terrence Smith.

After graduating college, Tommy worked with former bullies, Bulk and Skull, to open up Bulkmeier's, a restaurant in Stone Canyon. Being the majority owner, Tommy was considered the "boss" of the place.

Aside from his restaurant business, Tommy also worked with Andros, the Red Space Ranger, to monitor General Venjix and the remaining survivors of the Machine Empire. After learning that the Machine Empire was reviving Lord Zedd's deadly zord Serpentera, Tommy knew the only way to defeat them was to team up with every Red Ranger. He called upon Jason, the Red Power Ranger, Aurico, the Red Alien Ranger, T.J., the Red Turbo Ranger, Leo Corbett, the Red Galaxy Ranger, Carter Grayson, the Red Lightspeed Ranger, Wes Collins, the Red Time Force Ranger, Eric Myers, the Quantum Ranger, and Cole Evans, Red Wild Force Ranger.

With ten Red Rangers and the help of Cole's Savage Cycle, Serpentera and the rest of the Machine Empire was destroyed. Cole remarked that Tommy was the "greatest Ranger ever" to which the other Red Rangers heavily disputed.

About a year later, Tommy began his first day as a science teacher at Reefside High School. He walked along the halls and was joined by Principal Randall, who had just joined the staff as well. Tommy claimed that he became a teacher at Reefside because he was looking for some peace and quiet.

During his first day, he received detention duty and had to take care of Conner, Ethan, and Kira.al Randall had just joined the staff as well. Tommy offered his hand for a handshake, but Principal Randall ignored it. Instead, she made a lot of comments about Tommy's field of work and why he would be teaching. Tommy decided to tackle the problem by asking the Principal if they could get together later and she could explain what she expected out of him. Principal Randall told him to make the class as miserable as possible and if the students were smiling, he wasn't doing his job. Tommy was a bit bewildered by the Principal, but she left to find tyrants. Tommy continued his way into his class room. He quieted the class and introduced himself. Tommy asked if anyone had any questions. A young girl raise her hand and Tommy called on her. The young girl introduced herself as Cassidy Cornell - the school's TV anchor and reporter. Cassidy thought Tommy looked a little young to be a teacher and motion Devin to bring his camera. Tommy assured the class that he was old enough and had both kids sit down. He noticed the empty seat and ask if anyone was missing. Overall, his first day had been good. He ran into Principal Randall again, who informed him that he would be supervising detention. Tommy had other plans, he wanted to get to a museum on the outskirts of town. Principal Randall felt this was perfect punishment for the students and told Tommy to take them along. Tommy took Conner McKnight, Ethan James, and Kira Ford with him. He was rather surprised when he discovered the museum was closed. The students were ready to call it a day, but Tommy wanted to know what was going on. He told the students that they should explore the grounds and if they found any prehistoric item, he would take them off detention for the week. The students hurried off and Tommy set about looking around. He was surprised to see a plaque with Anton Mercer's name on it - that wasn't possible. He continued to search around the outside of the building. Tommy realized that the huge T-Rex that had been standing by the building, was now gone. The T-Rex soon found Tommy. Tommy gave the T-Rex a quick spinning kick and then set off for his jeep. He berated himself for locking the door and fumble with the keys. Tommy got the jeep going and the race was on. He spotted a bridge up ahead and maneuvered the jeep through it. The T-Rex followed, bumping his head on the bridge and tumbling to the ground. Tommy stopped the jeep and went to investigate the T-Rex. He was bemused to electronic sparks coming from the dinosaur's head. Tommy decided to locate his students and bring them back to school. He found them and ask if they were okay. Kira was about to say something, but Ethan and Conner overrule her. Ethan made a comment about lots of furry creatures. Kira mummer under her breath, about scaly ones to. Tommy heard her comment, but Conner was asking about the museum. Tommy told him, he would have to come back and took the kids back to school. Tommy returned to his own home. He was working in his special room underground when he heard voices. Tommy was not happy to see Conner and Ethan there.

Conner and Ethan quickly explained that they were there, because Kira had been taken by strange looking dinosaur type creatures. Tommy knew immediately that they were referring to Tryrandrones and told the guys what the creatures were called. Tommy also explained that he had helped create them, what he was wondering was they had taken Kira. Conner revealed the fact that they had taken the dino gems. Tommy wasn't happy, but he could understand why they had taken them. He told the guys to forget everything and that he would find Kira. Conner used his super speed to stop Tommy. Tommy smiled, the gems were already bonding with their DNA. He only had one problem, he did not want Conner calling him "dude". They all left in Tommy's jeep to find Kira. Tommy told the guys how he was working with his partner, Anton Mercer, on combing dinosaur technology with DNA. He also told them how Mercer had disappeared and a few days later, Mesogog showed up and destroyed his lab. Tommy had assumed that all the research had been destroyed as well. He had assumed that Mesogog was after the dino gems. During a lull in the conversation, Kira dropped out of the sky and on top of Tommy's jeep. Tommy was just as startled as the rest. Conner and Ethan helped Kira down. There problems were not over. Zeltrax and several Tryrandrones showed up and a battle broke out. Tommy fought alongside Conner, Ethan, and Kira. Afterwards, Tommy told Zeltrax to let Mesogog that Dr. Oliver was back. Tommy decided it was late and he needed to get his students home. They wanted an explanation. Tommy promised that he would explain after school tomorrow. The following day, Tommy entered his classroom. He had just started his lecture, when the building began to shake and the sky turned black. Tommy overheard Devin telling Cassidy about mechanical dinosaurs wrecking the city. Cassidy was ready to take off, but Tommy stopped them. The principal announced that the students were being dismiss. Cassidy and Devin took advantage of the distraction to sneak out, before Tommy could stop them. The students all left, except for three. There was no time for an explanation. Tommy took Conner, Ethan, and Kira back to his house. The mechanical dinosaurs were also of his invention, they were bio-zords. Tommy showed Conner, Ethan and Kira the dino morphers. Harnessed from the energy of the dino gems. They were uncertain, but Tommy believed in them. He knew the gems wouldn't have chosen them, if they didn't have something inside of them that could handle the power. They all left for the city. Zeltrax arrived shortly afterwards and Conner, Ethan, and Kira morphed into the Dino Thunder Power Rangers. Tommy coached them throughout. Once Zeltrax left for his assault ship, Conner, Ethan, and Kira tamed the bio-zords and made them their own. The Power Rangers were able to defeat Zeltrax. Afterwards, back at Tommy's house, Tommy passed out bracelets. The morphers had transform into the bracelets. He explained how they would helped them communicate with each other. The Rangers were still unsure, but Tommy believed in them. He told them that as long as they worked as a team, no one could defeat them.

Tommy contacted Ethan and told him to meet him in the woods. Ethan showed up and Tommy told him how some of his experiments were thrown in this area. Tommy spotted what he was looking for - eggs. Ethan told Tommy that he had already had lunch. Tommy chuckle. That wasn't it. First, Tommy was going to hatch them, and then the Rangers were going to ride them. Ethan didn't understand, but he helped Tommy placed the eggs carefully into a duffel bag. They were getting ready to leave, when a sudden movement caught their attention. Elsa, Zeltrax, and several Tryrandrones were after the eggs as well. They began attacking Tommy and Ethan. Tommy told Ethan to call the others. Kira and Conner joined the battle. During the battle, Tommy hurt Elsa. Elsa and Zeltrax decided to retreat, but not without making a threat towards Tommy. Tommy decided to go back to his place. He was joined by Ethan and Kira. Conner left to try and finish his soccer tryouts. The eggs hatched and Tommy was kept very busy trying to train the creatures. The entrance to the Dino Ruins opened, and Tommy shouted at the Rangers to stay out, it wasn't safe. One of the creatures' tail hit Tommy in the back and he flew out of the room. Landing hard on the ground, Tommy commented that he guess he was taking a break. Conner told Tommy that he needed to find a replacement for him. Ethan and Kira were upset. Tommy got everyone to calm down, he listened as Conner explain that all he wanted was to be a soccer player and he gets a chance and it's blown. Tommy understood and asked Conner to think about it before he made any decisions. Tommy called the soccer coach and explain that it was his fault that Conner had to leave practice. Later, he had to contact the Rangers to tell them of a monster attack. Tommy also sent some help - the Raptor Riders - which were a big hit with the Rangers. The Rangers defeated the monster. Later, Tommy was walking towards Hayley's Cyberspace to watch Kira sing. Suddenly, Zeltrax and several Tryrandrones appeared and they capture Tommy and vanished.

Tommy was brought to Mesogog. Tommy wanted to know what Mesogog wanted with him. Tommy was strapped down while Mesogog answered him. Mesogog had a stone that his senses told him contain power. Mesogog wanted to know how to release the power. Tommy recognized the stone, but there was no way he was going to tell Mesogog. He told Mesogog that he was only a high school teacher. Mesogog did not believe him. Tommy had created three Rangers, Mesogog knew that Tommy was hiding something. Despite all Mesogog's threats, Tommy did not reveal how to obtain the power of the stone. He was a bit surprised that Mesogog wanted to revert the world to prehistoric roots, he had assumed he wanted to take over the world like all the other sickos. Tommy tried desperately to escape his situation. Especially since Mesogog had his own powerful object pointed right at Tommy. What Tommy didn't know was his secret was being revealed to the three Rangers. Ethan had discovered Tommy's video journal with the history of the Power Rangers and Tommy's history as a Power Ranger.

Mesogog was growing impatient with Tommy's refusal to help him. Tommy kept his sense of humor, which Mesogog had none. Mesogog rolled the cart with the stone on top of it and it hit the end of Tommy's feet. Tommy stared at it as the stone glowed more brightly. Mesogog had threaten to hurt his students if Tommy did not cooperate, which Tommy more angrier, but he was not in a position to do anything about it. At it turn out, the Rangers were on their way to rescue Tommy. They hurried into the lab and began untying Tommy. Tommy told Ethan to hit the red button, which close the doors. It temporarily block Zeltrax, Mesogog, Elsa, and the monster from entering the room. Tommy told Ethan that he should have known that they would try and rescue him. Ethan would rather have had a thank-you. Tommy told him he would give a better thank-you when they got out of there. Tommy asked if Hayley had given them the Raptor cycles and then proceeded to open another invisiportal. Tommy was trying to get the Rangers out of there, but they wanted to talk to Tommy. They told him how they found his video diary and knew he was a Ranger. Tommy corrected them - was a Ranger. The door burst opened and Mesogog, Elsa, Zeltrax and the monster poured in. Mesogog made a special point of targeting Tommy as he tossed from one end of the room to the another. Tommy instructed the Rangers to leave through the portal, and then he followed after he grab the stone. They managed to make it back to Reefside, but so do Zeltrax, Elsa, the monster and several Tyrannodrones. Tommy turned to face them and held the stone in front of him as Zeltrax tried to blast him with his sword. The stone shattered and Tommy disappeared. Within the stone was the black dino gem and it contained the power of invisibility. Tommy reemerged to everyone's surprise. Elsa demanded that the gem be given back to her master, but Tommy informed her that it was the gem who chose the person. The other info he had for her was that the dino gems worked real well with the dino morphers. Tommy morphed and became the Black Dino Thunder Power Ranger. Another battle erupted as Zeltrax tried to bring Tommy down. It was just like getting back on a bike for Tommy and he soon had Zeltrax down. But he couldn't finish him off, instead he told Zeltrax to tell his master that he was back and that no matter what color he was, Mesogog would never defeat him. Zeltrax vanished, but the monster grew larger. Tommy had a new zord as well, plus the team got a new zord. Soon the monster was defeated. Later, at Hayley's Cyberspace, Tommy relaxed with his students. Kira was full of questions for him. Tommy had detected another power source and figured it was another dino gem. He had Hayley make a morpher. When he detected the power source had moved, he was on his way to Hayley's to tell them that they needed to investigate, when he was captured. But as Tommy said it had all worked out well and he got ready to leave. When he was questioned, he replied that he had to go shopping. His wardrobe was in short supply of black clothes.

Tommy was at Hayley's Cyberspace, listening to Kira perform her latest song. He applauded when she was done, but he was one of the few. Kira went to sit at their table - upset that no one was listening to her music. The conversation turned to pop music - music Tommy doesn't care for - and pop star Kylee Styles. Kira revealed that her and Kylee used to play in a band together. Ethan and Conner didn't believe her, but Tommy did. Trent was waiting on their table and acknowledge someone who had just walked in. Tommy was shocked to see it was Anton Mercer. He walked slowly towards the entrance. Tommy had thought Anton had been destroyed and told him so. He didn't understand why Anton hadn't try to contact him. Anton replied that he was just trying to get started again and offered no real explanation as to how he survive the island explosion. Tommy leaned close and in a low voice told Anton that something had happened to their experiments and that they needed to talk. To Tommy's surprise, Anton did not seem interested, and brush him off. Anton left and Tommy was puzzled over what had just happened. Mesogog released another monster that stole people's youth. Tommy and the rest of the Rangers morphed into action. During the battle, Zeltrax targeted Tommy with talk of revenge. Tommy didn't know what Zeltrax was talking about, although Zeltrax did not believe this and continued to battle Tommy. Eventually Zeltrax gave up and the rest of the Rangers defeated the monster. Later, Tommy and his students return to Cyberspace to watch Kira and Kylee perform a number together.

Tommy was waiting for Ethan. He had another practice for the rest of the Rangers and only Conner and Kira were there. Tommy was not happy. Every practice was important, they had to stay prepared for an attack. Suddenly, Tommy was attacked from behind. Zeltrax and several Tyrannodrones had appeared. As usual, Zeltrax focus his whole attention on Tommy. The battle end just as quick as it had begun. Tommy suspected that it had all been a diversion. Tommy returned to Dino Ruins, while Conner and Kira left to search for Ethan. Tommy was at the Dino Ruins when he was contacted by Conner. Another monster had appeared outside of Hayley's Cyberspace. Tommy supplied the Rangers with what they needed. Afterwards, he listened in disbelief as Ethan tried to explain about Beldorf. Tommy began to lecture the Rangers. He was unaware that Beldorf had remove his mouth and none of the Rangers heard anything he said. Beldorf returned Tommy's mouth only because Ethan asked him to. The monster reappeared and it was time for the Rangers to get back to action. Tommy and the rest of the Rangers defeated the monster.

Tommy was at Hayley's Cyberspace and gave Trent a ride home. As they walked towards Tommy's jeep, Tommy had to ask a question he had been wondering about. In all the time that Tommy and Anton worked together, he never mentioned. Trent explained that years ago, his real parents worked with Anton on a dig. There was a cave in and his parents never came out. Anton took him in and gave him everything. As they drove along, Tommy noticed a gold creature in his rearview mirror. He asked Trent to double check if he saw the same thing, Trent did. Tommy abruptly stopped the jeep and the creature smacked into it. They got out of the jeep to take a look at the creature. The creature suddenly stood up and asked which one of them was Dr. Oliver. Tommy said that would be him. The creature then began to attack him. Tommy tried to fight him, but he was unable to morph with Trent there. Trent tried to help, although Tommy wanted him to stay out of the battle. Fortunately, the Rangers arrived. They all learned that the gold creature was Golden Rod - Zeltrax's son. Zeltrax and his son left. The following day, Tommy was back at Cyberspace with Ethan. Hayley was upset over a piece of mail she receive. Tommy thought it was junk mail, but it was more than that. Anton Mercer had purchased the land that her building sat on. As Tommy read the letter, he told the others that Anton was the new landlord. Hayley was to be replace with Trent. Trent walked in and explain how it wasn't his fault. Tommy knew of someone in city hall and he thought that they could talk to them. Tommy, Trent, and Ethan left to go to city hall. They were greeted by councilwoman Sanchez. Before any discussion could be made, they were attacked by Zeltrax and Golden Rod. Tommy told Trent to take councilwoman Sanchez to safety. Tommy and Ethan were joined by Conner and Kira. They morphed into action. Tommy noticed that Golden Rod was a lot stronger. Zeltrax still single out Tommy. Tommy couldn't understand Zeltrax's talk of revenge and asked him if he was sure he had the right guy. Zeltrax went to far when he instructed Golden Rod to destroyed Tommy's beloved students. Tommy put Zeltrax out of commission and with his staff, destroyed Golden Rod. Later, at Hayley's Cyberspace, Tommy had the great satisfaction of seeing Dr. Mercer being put in his place by councilwoman Sanchez. The paperwork was put on hold and Dr. Mercer walked out.

Dr. Oliver announced to the class that they were going on a field trip. The kids left for the bus. Cassidy and Devin stopped to ask if they could film the field trip. Tommy said it was okay. The class was empty and Tommy was getting to leave himself, when he stopped in his tracks. Framed in the doorway was Principal Randall. Tommy was a bit puzzled and ask Principal Randall if she was in a play. Principal Randall was dressed rather strange. Principal Randall replied that she intended to go on the field trip with them. Although Tommy didn't think Principal Randall was interested in old bones, he didn't have much of a choice. He was more confused when Principal Randall told him that he could dazzle her with dinosaur facts on the way there. At the site, Principal Randall was always close by. Tommy unearthed a fossil which he showed to Principal Randall. Principal Randall fussed over him, although Tommy insisted that he was okay. They were interrupted by Kira who told Tommy that they had found a morphsaurs egg. Tommy picked up on the clue and left with Kira. He believed the egg was another dinozord egg and was ready to leave with it, when Principal Randall joined their group. Principal Randall wanted to see the egg and Tommy reluctantly handed it to her. Principal Randall gave the egg back and then the site was attacked by Tyrannodrones. Tommy, Conner, Ethan, and Kira immediately began battling. Tommy kept Principal Randall close by and used her to battle the Tyrannodrones. At one point the egg went flying and Principal Randall was on the way. Without hesitation, Tommy raced to save Principal Randall. They landed awkwardly on the ground. Principal Randall insisted on getting the egg and then tossed it to Tommy. Tommy was glad to see that the egg was okay. The field trip was over and everyone left for the bus. Principal Randall stopped Conner, Ethan, and Kira and wanted to know where they learned to fight like that. Conner quickly replied karate club. Principal Randall then asked Tommy if they even had one of those. Tommy shrugged and replied that he didn't know, he was still new. At Tommy's house, Ethan tried to get a reading on the egg. Conner and Kira were there as well. Tommy didn't understand. He believe the egg to be the Dimetrodon egg. He was more confused that he was still getting a heat reading from in the forest. He left to check it out and told his students to keep working on the egg. Tommy reached where the heat reading was coming from and got out of the jeep. He began walking and was soon stopped by Zeltrax. Tommy didn't have time for Zeltrax, but Zeltrax wasn't going to go away. Tommy morphed and they began to battle. Zeltrax gave Tommy a warning to stay away from her, but Tommy had no idea what Zeltrax was talking away. Zeltrax vanished and Tommy wanted to know what his problem was. Later, he was back at his house monitoring the battle between the Rangers and the Dimetrodon that was under Elsa's control. The situation was made worse when Scorpex joined the battle against the Rangers as well. Tommy knew they needed Dimetrodon's help. Concentrating and focusing on his bracelet, Tommy soon gained control over the Dimetrodon. The Rangers were able to defeat Scorpex with Dimetrodon's help. Tommy did a little victory dance. The following day at school, Tommy had a moment when he thought his identity as a power ranger was about to be reveal. Tommy lowered his head and swallowed as Cassidy announced over her television show that a real super hero worked at the school. It turned out Cassidy was talking about Principal Randall. After class, Tommy met with Principal Randall on the stairs. He had been impressed with how Principal Randall had conducted herself at the site. Tommy told Principal Randall how he didn't need to worry too much over her. Principal Randall seemed surprised that Tommy had been worried about her. Principal Randall stare at Tommy, but the moment was gone once the bell rang. Principal Randall sharply reminded Tommy that his next class wasn't going to teach itself. Tommy was a little puzzled over her abrupt change. Conner, Kira, and Ethan joined him on the stairs. Conner immediately began teasing Tommy. Tommy really didn't want to hear about it and they walked out of school together.

Tommy was at his house on the computer. He was searching for another dinozord egg. Tommy knew the egg was out there and ready to hatch, he just didn't know where. On the screen flashed several Tyrannodrones. Tommy contacted Conner, Ethan, and Kira to let them know that there was trouble in the city. On the screen appeared the monster, Megalador, at the beach. He told them there were troubles at the beach as well. Tommy immediately left for the beach while the others tackle the Tyrannodrones in the city. Tommy knocked Megalador aside as Megalador had tried to capture famous celebrity, Nikki Valentina. Tommy didn't like shark monsters and Megalador only reinforce his dislike for shark monsters. Nikki was not appreciate of Tommy's help and walked away complaining about broken fingertips. The rest of the Rangers had taken care of the Tyrannodrones in the city and joined Tommy on the beach. Tommy had morphed and headed towards the rest of the Rangers. Conner and Ethan got distracted by the appearance of Nikki. Megalador took advantage of this and blasted them both with his flower power. Tommy could only shake his head in dismay as Megalador grabbed Nikki and vanished. Tommy and the others returned to Tommy's house. Conner and Ethan complained about the rash on their faces that the Megalador had caused. Tommy told them they were lucky they were in their helmets - it could have been a lot worse. Hayley was there as well. Hayley had located Nikki - she was being held captive at Mesagog's place, but Mesogog had placed firewalls and there was no way to get in. Tommy got the computer and he, Hayley, and Kira tried to figure out a way to rescue Nikki. Much to Hayley's surprise Nikki had managed to escape and was back at the beach. Tommy was not surprise to see Megalador was close behind Nikki. Tommy and the rest of the Rangers morphed and headed towards the beach. Zeltrax was there as well. As usual, Zeltrax signaled out Tommy for his vengeance. The rest of the Rangers were having a difficult time - their megazord had just tossed them out. Tommy raced over to make sure they were okay. Hayley arrived with the egg Tommy had been searching for. Ethan caught the egg and the egg hatched to reveal a Stegozord. Tommy instructed the Rangers to get back into their megazord and tame the Stegozord using telepathy. The Stegozord was able to help the Rangers defeat Megalador.

[edit] White Thunder

Tommy was at his home, working on some fossils when he heard an explosion on the computer. He tried to make out who had appeared on the screen, but couldn't. Tommy knew something was up at the Petrified Forest and decided to check it out. He also contacted Conner, Ethan, and Kira and asked if they would met him there. Tommy arrived first and began to immediately scan the ground. Conner, Kira, and Ethan showed up and wanted to know what had happened. Tommy was getting incredible energy readings - as strong as what was in the Ranger's morphers. Apparently another dino gem had been hidden and had now been released. Whether that was good news or bad news depended on who had the gem. Tommy and the others returned to his home. Hayley met them there. Soon a strange looking creature appeared on the computer screen. Tommy thought it looked like it was looking for something. Kira, Ethan, and Conner morphed and left to take on the creature. Tommy and Hayley monitored the battle. Tommy was stunned when something quickly appeared, destroyed the creature, and then quickly left. Conner asked Tommy if he had seen that, Tommy replied that he did, but he didn't know what it was. Ethan, Conner, and Kira decided to follow it. The something was a White Dino Thunder Power Ranger. Tommy was surprised as the rest - he didn't know anything about another Ranger. The White Ranger battle Kira, Conner, and Ethan and then left. They returned to Tommy's house. Tommy and Hayley were monitoring the screens when the White Ranger made another appearance. Conner, Ethan, and Kira left again. They met with the White Ranger and another battle broke out. Tommy morphed and joined them. He prevented Ethan from blasting at the White Ranger. Tommy cautioned the others that they didn't know how powerful the White Ranger was. The taunts became too much for Kira and Ethan and they went after him. The White Ranger had them demorph and in pain. Tommy tackled the White Ranger, but he soon demorphed as well. Conner also became demorph after battling the White Ranger. Tommy and his friends gathered together and listened as the White Ranger taunted them and left. They returned to Tommy's home. Ethan had been shocked about an evil White Ranger, but Tommy knew that it had happened before. Tommy knew there was only one thing left to do. Find out the identity of the White Ranger and what he wanted before it is too late.

Tommy was at his home with Conner. He had found two dinozord eggs and quickly contacted Ethan and Kira. Kira and Ethan joined Tommy and Conner at his home. The dinozord eggs looked like they were about to pop. Tommy sent Kira and Conner to the warehouse for one egg while he and Ethan left for the docks for the other egg. When they arrived at the docks, Ethan was getting strong readings on his scanner. They left the jeep and heard an alarm. Suddenly dozens of workers were fleeing the scene. Tommy and Ethan went to investigate. It turn out the dinozord egg had hatched and the Parasaur was running around. Hayley contacted them with info on the Parasaur. Tommy's morpher adapted to the new zord. Tommy and Ethan were soon joined by Conner and Kira. Conner and Kira had been unsuccessful in getting the dinozord egg, because the White Ranger had it and was trying to hatch it. Angor was also running around. Tommy summoned the zords and Conner, Kira, and Ethan leaped into them. Tommy would take care of the White Ranger. He left to find the White Ranger and instead had another encounter with Zeltrax. Tommy was fierce in his battle with Zeltrax and demanded to know what this was about. But Zeltrax simply vanished instead of giving him an answer. Conner contacted Tommy to let him know that they had taken care of Angor. Tommy let them know that he had gotten a little side track, but he was continuing. Tommy raced down the stairs, wishing for an elevator. He found the White Ranger, but it was too late. The dinozord egg had already hatched. The building began to tremble and Tommy ran out before the building collapse. He made it outside and in time to see that the White Ranger had control of the White Drago Zord. Tommy knew they were in big trouble as the White Ranger prepared to battle Conner, Kira, and Ethan.

Tommy called for the Stegozord to help them, but the White Ranger gain control of the Stegozord to form his own Dino Stegozord. Tommy watched as the White Ranger battle the Rangers and eventually won. The Rangers were tossed onto the ground and the zord had come apart. Tommy raced to the Rangers to see if they were okay. The White Ranger had planned to gain control of the other zords as well, but Tommy stopped him. He also temporarily broke the White Ranger control of the Stegozord. Tommy and the Rangers returned to his home. Tommy advised the students to go and have fun and they left. Tommy was at the computer when Kira walked in. Kira couldn't go off and just have fun and neither could Ethan. Tommy should have known they would have a tough time with that. On the computer screen appeared an upgraded Angor and Conner was battling the White Ranger. Tommy and Kira left to take down Angor, while Ethan left to help Conner. Tommy and Kira arrived where Angor was and began blasting their weapons at it. Tommy also called for the auxiliary zords to help them. During the battle, Angor suddenly vanished. Tommy and Kira caught up with Conner and Ethan. Angor was now battling the White Ranger. The White Ranger destroyed Angor and then vanished himself. Tommy and his students returned to his home. There was nothing they could do at the moment. Conner wanted to go back for the fossil finder, but Tommy told them to get some rest. He would go for the fossil finder. Hayley told him to be careful as Tommy left for the warehouse. Tommy entered the warehouse with no problems and found the fossil finder, but it was hook up to a strange gadget. Before Tommy could really examined it, Trent stumble into the warehouse. Tommy went to his side and help him up. He tried to get Trent out of there, but Trent began to cry out in pain. The force of Trent's bracelet knock Tommy away. Tommy was stunned to see Trent morphed into the White Ranger. He had never seen that coming. Tommy morphed and he battled the White Ranger. Tommy contacted Hayley to tell her who the White Ranger was. Before he could get out the name, the White Ranger had him fossilized.

Eventually Hayley found a way to defossilized Tommy. Tommy was happy to be free of the amber, but there was still a problem. Tommy could not power down. He was stuck in his ranger suit. This didn't cause problems for the Rangers, as he was able to continue to help them out and guide them. But Tommy could not teach his class in his current condition. Kira told Tommy that Dr. Mercer had been chosen as his substitute while he was out. Kira expect Tommy to be upset, but instead Tommy was excited for the class. He had learned a lot from Dr. Mercer, and expected his class to do as well.

Other than help the Rangers, Tommy couldn't do much. He decided to go through years of paperwork and photos that he had accumulated. Tommy asked Kira if she could help him. Kira found an old photo of Tommy from his Green Ranger days and teased him about his hair. Tommy replied that that was the style back then. Kira also found a photo of Tommy, Dr. Mercer, and a young man. Tommy looked at the photo. Tommy told Kira that the young man was Terrence Smith, whom everyone called Smitty. It had been their first dig together. Mercer industries had a position open that both Tommy and Smitty had tried for. Tommy got the job, while Smitty went to work for another company. Smitty had disappeared after a tragic accident. Tommy told Kira to toss the photo in the trash box. Later, Tommy left to help the Rangers battle. As usual, Zeltrax zeroed in on him. Tommy was getting tired of it. He receive a shock when Zeltrax revealed that he was Smitty. After the accident, Mesogog had found him and using his genetic genius Mesogog rebuilt Smitty as Zeltrax. Tommy was stunned and tried to tell Smitty that it was no excuse for fighting on the side of evil. Zeltrax wouldn't listen. The battle ended, but Tommy felt bad for what had happen to Smitty.

Tommy was still unable to power down, but he continue to help the Rangers on and off the battlefield. Tommy trusted Trent when the evil coding on his dino code was destroyed. He accept him into their Ranger family. He helped Conner obtained the Triassic Shield. Zeltrax launched a new weapon on the Rangers, a scorpion tank and an improved Aerial Assault Ship. Tommy knew that Zeltrax would not stop until one of the Rangers was destroyed. He gave words of encouragement to Hayley - who was busy coming up with a new assault vehicle - before he left to help the Rangers. Tommy told the Rangers to do their best before he leap up into Zeltrax's ship. Tommy and Zeltrax battle. Tommy tried to reach out to "Smitty" and told him it didn't have to be like this. But "Smitty" insisted that he was Zeltrax and continued battling Tommy. Tommy didn't have much choice but to destroy Zeltrax. Zeltrax's ship exploded, but Tommy made it out in time. He walked out to the Rangers who were happy to see him. Ethan asked Tommy about Zeltrax, and Tommy told him that Zeltrax was gone. Instead of feeling proud, Tommy was sad at the turn of events.

Tommy sent Kira, Ethan, and Conner to stop a transmitter that Elsa had set up. The Rangers were able to successfully destroyed the transmitter. The following day, Elsa and Mesogog sent a mechanical mutation of a virus (Jupitor) to the television station. Jupitor seep into the control panel at the station and Elsa now had another transmitter with a beam directed at Jupiter's core. Tommy called the Rangers back to his lab. Tommy told the Rangers that Elsa intended for Jupiter to implode causing dire consequences to Earth. Tommy stressed that the Rangers needed to destroyed Jupitor. The evil White Ranger appeared on the screen. Tommy sent Conner to stop the evil White Ranger. Tommy sent Kira, Ethan, and Trent to destroyed the virus. Tommy monitored the situation from his lab. The Rangers were successful in their missions.

Tommy and Hayley came up with a plan to demorph Tommy. They had monitored Elsa at a rock quarry gathering some green slime. Tommy went to investigate. He was attacked by several Tyrannodrones, but fought them off. Tommy returned with the green slime. Hayley analyzed it and believe the green slime could demorph Tommy. The procedure was set, and the green slime did demorph Tommy. But the green slime kicked Tommy's invisibility power into overdrive, and Tommy was now invisible. It was back to the drawing board. Hayley had come up with another plan. Tommy contacted Kira, Conner, and Ethan and told them to met him at his lab. Tommy was working out when the three arrived. He told them that Hayley had come up with a solution to restore him to normal. Conner, Kira, and Ethan were excited, but Hayley cautioned them. Hayley told them that they needed a powerful energy source. Tommy had been thinking of that and his idea was to use his dino gem. Hayley was against the idea, she was concern that the gem was too much power. But Tommy was willing to try anything to return to normal and insistent that they use the dino gem. Tommy laid on the table as Hayley, Conner, Kira, and Ethan prepared the equipment and him for the procedure. Hayley turned the equipment on, and Tommy could feel the power through his body. Suddenly he began to jerk uncontrollably and that was the last thing he remembered before he woke up again. When he woke up, he was startled to find himself in a red tinge desert. Tommy called out to find out if there was anyone there. He was very surprised when Zeo Ranger V answered him. Tommy couldn't understand how he could be face his former self. Zeo Ranger V wanted to fight him, but Tommy didn't want to. That didn't stop Zeo Ranger V. Tommy realized that his dino gem was gone and he would have to fight without it. Tommy and Zeo Ranger V began fighting. Zeo Ranger V threw quite a few taunts about Tommy being washed up, but Tommy never gave up. Eventually Zeo Ranger V told Tommy that he had quite a bit of fight within, but wondered if it was enough. Zeo Ranger V vanished before Tommy could stop him. Tommy wondered what Zeo Ranger V had been talking about. Tommy continued walking and soon entered a dense forest with a white tinge to it. He had a feeling he wasn't in Reefside anymore. Tommy received another shock when White Ranger appeared and told him he was in Angel Grove. Tommy told the White Ranger that his powers had been destroyed. White Ranger replied that you couldn't keep a good Ranger down. Tommy realized that White Ranger wanted to fight him. Tommy battle the White Ranger. White Ranger knew all his old moves, but Tommy had some new ones. White Ranger was impressed and before he vanished asked Tommy if he was ready for his toughest opponent yet. Tommy had thought their fight had been tough. Tommy continued walking until the forest changed from a white tinge to a green tinge. Tommy thought the whole thing was strange, even by Ranger standards. A familiar green danger flew past him and landed by the tree Tommy had been standing by. Tommy was not surprise to see it was the Green Ranger. He also was not surprised that Green Ranger wanted to fight. The fight begun and Green Ranger was very tough. Green Ranger had Tommy and asked why he didn't just give up. Tommy replied that was the one thing he would never done. Green Ranger told him that he guess it was over. Tommy braced himself for the fatal blow, but instead received a helping hand from Green Ranger. Green Ranger told him he had passed the test. Tommy didn't know what he was talking about and asked him what test. Tommy was surprised when Zeo Ranger V and White Ranger appeared again. The Rangers told Tommy that he hadn't been battling them, he had been fighting for his life. Each Ranger held a piece of Tommy's shattered dino gem. Tommy collected each piece and the Rangers wished the Black Ranger good luck. Tommy awoke to find himself in a hospital bed and Hayley there. Hayley was happy to see him and asked if he was okay. Tommy told her he never felt better and when he opened his hand, his dino gem had been restored. Tommy left the hospital and hurried to help the Rangers. Kira, Trent, Ethan, and Conner were powerless but battling Terrorsaurus II. Tommy arrived with a flying kick. Trent, Ethan, Conner, and Kira were happy to see him. He acknowledge them briefly before continuing the battle with Terrorsaurus II. Tommy quickly morphed and then called for super dino mode. He made quick work of Terrorsaurus II. With the defeat of Terrorsaurus II, the Rangers received their powers back. They excitedly ran towards Tommy asking him what had happened. He told them they wouldn't believe it. Terrorsaurus II return and was bigger. Tommy knew the three (Kira, Conner, and Ethan) could handle Terrorsaurus II. The Rangers destroyed Terrorsaurus II. Afterwards, they all returned to Tommy's lab. Tommy told them how he had to battle his former Ranger selves as he battled for his life. Trent, Conner, Ethan, and Kira were amazed and conversations burst from all four. Tommy smile and held up his hands to silence them. He told them how much it meant to him that they had stuck by him. Tommy expressed his gratitude from the bottom of his heart. Hayley told the Rangers they should be proud of themselves. This brought Conner to tears, which he quickly denied. Tommy smiled happily as they told him they were glad to have him back.

Tommy returned to his teaching position at Reefside High School. There was a protest held on the school grounds over a tree being removed for a parking lot. Tommy arrived at the protest right after Conner had pulled Krista to safety. Tommy told Principal Randall that they needed to talk before someone gets hurt. Principal Randall agreed that they could talk, but that nothing he said would change her mind. Principal Randall sent everyone home. After school, Tommy and Hayley were at his lab. The rest of the Rangers appeared full of questions about Zeltrax's return and the tree Zeltrax had taken. Hayley answered their questions by telling them that a life force spring was underneath the tree. Because of years being place right over the spring, the tree had power. Which is what Zeltrax wanted. Tommy told them that they could be sure, Zeltrax was not the only one interested in the tree. Krista appeared on the screen and Conner quickly walked out. Tommy followed him and stopped him. He asked Conner if he was okay. Conner was not sure he was cut out for the super hero stuff especially after meeting Krista - who was so sure of what she wanted and not afraid to go after it. Tommy chuckle to himself and told Conner that he reminded him a lot of himself. A lot of raw emotion and talent. Tommy told Conner that he needed confidence in himself. Conner replied that he had plenty of confidence. Tommy corrected him by telling him there was a difference between confidence and cockiness. Tommy told Conner that if he really believe in himself, he would be amazed at what he could do. Their conversation was interrupted by a beeping sound that told them there was trouble. Tommy and Conner returned to see that the viewing screen now showed numerous Triptoids. Tommy sent Conner, Kira, and Ethan after the Triptoids. He asked Trent to stay and keep an eye out on whether Zeltrax returned. Conner, Kira, and Ethan morphed and were already battling Triptoids when Tommy appeared. Elsa and the evil White Ranger were there as well. Tommy had morphed as well. He showed the Rangers a new way to defeat Triptoids by using the dino gem powers. Using the dino gem powers at full force made the rest of the Triptoids disappeared. The Rangers were prepared to face down Elsa and the evil White Ranger when Zeltrax appeared with Deadwood Monster. Elsa commanded the evil White Ranger to destroy them all before she disappeared. Tommy took on Zeltrax as the rest of the Rangers leaped into their zords. Tommy was about to give Conner some instructions when he was stopped by Zeltrax. The battle continued and soon Trent, morphed arrived, to help them out. Trent battled Zeltrax as Tommy instructed Conner to assemble all the zords to form the Triceramax Megazord. Soon Deadwood Monster was in several pieces. Furious Zeltrax left with a piece of Deadwood Monster. Conner followed Zeltrax. Tommy and the rest of the Rangers soon caught up with Conner and Zeltrax. Conner now had battle armor and was battling Zeltrax. Eventually Zeltrax retreated. Another day, Tommy walked with Trent, Kira, and Ethan to the new tree planting ceremony. Trent thought it was too bad the life force spring was no longer effective, as it could have helped a lot of people. Tommy told them that like all good things, too much of it is not good. They talked about Zeltrax's return and Tommy told them that Mesogog would be looking for Zeltrax just as hard as they are. Tommy and the rest watched Conner plant the new tree.

Black Ranger was battling Zeltrax. Ethan, Kira, Conner, and Trent watched in amazement. Along with some new faces, Z, Bridge, and Jack. Zeltrax's army arrival. There were numerous Krybots, Orangeheads, Blueheads, and Tyrannodrones. In addition, there were three monsters. Black Ranger came over and told them better late than never. The group all morphed and went into battle. Later, more help arrival in the form of S.P.D.'s Rangers, Pink Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Omega Ranger stopped Zeltrax from dealing a fatal blow to Black Ranger. Shadow Ranger helped Black Ranger up and told him it was pleasure to met him. Black Ranger responded likewise. Black Ranger battled alongside Shadow Ranger as they took on Zeltrax. Eventually Zeltrax decided this was no longer his battle and retreated, with the promise that this wasn't over. The rest of the Rangers had destroyed the monsters and the Tyrannodrones. Black Ranger joined the rest of the Rangers as they faced down the remaining Troobian forces. The two Ranger teams used their laser cannons and destroyed the remaining Krybots, Blueheads, and Orangeheads.

[edit] In Search of Zeltrax

Tommy was currently teaching the class about volcanoes. He had just finished his lecture and told the class he had two announcements to make. One was that Ethan James would be participating at the Detonation Video Games competition at Hayley's Cyberspace. The other announcement was that there was to be a sub for the following day. Tommy told the class that the sub knew a lot about volcanoes and that they would learn a lot. He then dismissed the class and headed for his jeep. Tommy was stopped by Conner and Kira. Kira wanted to know who the sub was - anyone but Dr. Mercer. Tommy chuckle and told them that he promised it wouldn't be Anton Mercer. Conner wanted to know why he was taking the day off. Tommy was concern about what had happened with Krista. He wanted to find Zeltrax before Mesogog did. The following day, Tommy was in the woods searching for Zeltrax, but he had no luck. He returned to his home and found Hayley leaving. Hayley had to supervise Cyberspace while the competition was taking place. Tommy told Hayley that he had no luck in tracking Zeltrax. He was still home, when Conner, Kira, and Ethan arrived. Conner and Kira told Tommy about Zeltrax and the evil White Ranger attacking them. During the battle, Zeltrax had vanished. Tommy concluded that Zeltrax's last battle with Conner in armor battle had weaken him considerably. The screen showed Horn Rimmed Monster in the city. Tommy sent Conner, Kira, and Ethan to battle. He stayed behind to monitor the situation for Zeltrax. Horn Rimmed Monster was trying to activate the volcano in Reefside. The ground shook several buildings, including Cyberspace. Trent contacted Tommy to ask what was going on. Tommy told him that the readings were volcanic activity. Trent wanted to help, but Tommy told him to stay and protect the innocent people at Cyberspace. Tommy morphed and joined the Rangers battling Horn Rimmed Monster. Horn Rimmed Monster summon several Triptoids. Tommy used his super dino mode to get rid of the Triptoids and put a dent in Horn Rimmed Monster. Conner power-up to Triassic and then used his armor battle to finished off Horn Rimmed Monster. Horn Rimmed Monster returned and Tommy called the zords for the Rangers. The battle continued until the Rangers destroyed Horn Rimmed Monster. Afterwards, they went to Cyberspace for the competition - which had been postponed. Tommy clapped with the rest of the crowd when Trent announced Ethan as the current champion. Tommy and the rest of the crowd were surprised to see Devin was the challenger. Tommy watched his students compete. Ethan had thought he won when he broke his old record, but Trent pointed out that Devin was still playing. Tommy, along with the rest of the crowd, was impressed with Devin's ability. Devin won the championship. Tommy watched a dazed Ethan leave the table, unable to believe he had lost.

Tommy was contacted by Ethan. Ethan told him that the evil White Ranger had issued a challenge via his laptop. Tommy morphed and joined the other Rangers at the seaside front. At first, there appeared to be no evil White Ranger there. The evil White Ranger took advantage of their confusion and attacked them. The evil White Ranger wanted to know where the White Ranger was. (Trent had not joined them, because he was with his dad). The Rangers battle the evil White Ranger and the battle escalated to zords. Eventually the evil White Ranger was tossed from his zord. The Rangers left their zords and could see that the evil White Ranger was barely holding on. They offered to help, but the evil White Ranger refused. The evil White Ranger told them that the battle was to see who would be the White Ranger. When the evil White Ranger lost control of his zords, he vanished. The Rangers return to Tommy's house. Hayley was there. Hayley informed them that the dino gem could only sustain one Ranger, not two. Tommy wanted to contact Trent and left him know, but Jade Gladiator appeared on the screen. Tommy gave Hayley the task of contacting Trent. Tommy and the rest of the Rangers morphed and went searching for the Jade Gladiator. The Jade Gladiator was easy enough to find and Tommy called the zords for the Rangers. Tommy watched the Rangers battle Jade Gladiator in their zord. Jade Gladiator summoned a huge green plant and from the plant came two monsters - Deadwood Monster and Skortch. Soon the Rangers were tossed from their zords. Tommy decided to take matters into his own hands and called the Stegazord. He entered the zord and began battling the monsters. Tommy used several different arm formations to battle the monsters. He was able to destroyed Deadwood Monster before being tossed back out. When Tommy landed on the ground, he demorphed. The Rangers helped him to his feet. They noticed the White Ranger walking towards them. They didn't know whether it was Trent or the evil White Ranger. The White Ranger revealed himself to be Trent - much to the Rangers' relief. Tommy told the group they knew what they had to do. All the Rangers morphed together and entered the zords. To destroy the remaining two monsters, the Rangers combined all the dino zords to form the Thundersaurus Full Power.

[edit] Thunderstorm

Tommy was home and he was checking on Hayley. Hayley had installed a new computer program and had rechecked everything. Hayley showed Tommy that the state of California was cover in a blanket of evil. Tommy asked her if she thought it was a computer glitch. Hayley hoped so, or they were in big trouble. Later, Tommy found Hayley still at it. He told Hayley that it was late and she should go home. Hayley pointed out to Tommy that an extra surge of evil was concentrated in Blue Bay Harbor at the Ninja/Ranger school. Tommy thought that the Ranger program had been discontinued after Lothor's defeat. Hayley had kept in contact with Cam and Tommy hoped she still had his number. Tommy and Hayley kept an eye on the computer screen. Hayley's concern's were confirmed when evil Ninja Ranger, two generals and several Kelzaks began tearing up Reefside. Tommy contacted the Rangers and they all came over. Hayley told the group that they believed that the Abyss of Evil had been opened and Lothor freed. Tommy sent the Rangers to check it out, except Trent. He feared Mesogog would take advantage of the situation and Trent should stay with them. Tommy and Hayley monitored the battle and knew that the Dino Thunder Rangers had not done well. When the Rangers returned, they were very discouraged. Tommy told them that they important thing was that they were okay. He also told the Rangers that they had learned a very important thing - that it was going to take more power than what they had to defeat them. Conner wanted to use the dino zords and just kick the Ninja Rangers' butts. Ethan and Kira backed him up. Tommy reminded them at the Ninja Rangers were good people and that something had happened to them. Tommy instructed the Rangers that it was okay to defend themselves, but they could not destroy the Ninja Rangers.

Hayley believed, as did Tommy, that Mesogog would join forces with Lothor. They were right. Tommy and Hayley monitored the situation at Tommy's home after Conner, Kira, and Ethan left. Later, Conner, Kira, Ethan, Trent, Tori, Dustin, Shane, Hunter, Blake, and Cam were at Tommy's house. Cam and Hunter explained how they retrieve their powers from the Abyss of Evil and how Sensei Kanoi helped them. The group was getting along really well, but Tommy wanted them to realized that they were all still in danger. Sensei Kanoi agreed with Tommy. The computer beeped and showed that Elsa, Zurgane, the generals, several monsters, Kelzaks, Triptoids, and Tyrannodrones were preparing for battle. Tommy told the group that it was time to show them what teamwork was all about. They raced over to where Elsa had been preparing everyone. Tommy and the rest of the Rangers morphed and went into battle. Tommy worked together with Hunter and Blake. They concentrated on Zurgane and eventually destroyed him. After an intense battle, the Rangers were victorious. Marah and Kapri appeared with Lothor's bottle and released the ninja students. Afterwards, everyone returned to Tommy's home. Hayley told Shane, Dustin, Tori, Blake, Hunter, and Cam that their powers were no more. Dustin still had a question and Tommy asked him what it was. Dustin wanted to know how Sensei Kanoi managed to be in the Abyss of Evil. Marah and Kapri quickly popped up and told them of how they dragged Sensei Kanoi to safety while Lothor slept. Everyone laughed - glad that things were back to normal. The following day, Tommy joined Shane, Tori, Dustin, Hunter, Cam, Kira, Conner, Ethan, Marah, and Kapri in cheering Blake to another motocross victory.

Tommy walked into Hayley's Cyberspace and found Ethan, Conner, Kira, and Trent sitting at a table. He asked them what they were doing there so late. Ethan replied that he loved being a Ranger, but it played havoc with homework. Ethan, Trent, Kira, and Conner all told him of the school work that they had to do. Tommy suggested that it was late and that they should head home and get a good night's sleep. Ethan, Conner, and Kira left. Trent stay behind to continue studying for a test. Tommy took his own advice and headed home. He went to bed and soon experience a nightmare. In his dream, he was already morphed and battling Squidrose. During the battle, Squidrose managed to get Tommy's staff. Tommy managed to get it back and told Squidrose to mess with the man in black. Ethan, Conner, and Kira appeared (morphed) and apologized for getting there late. Tommy thought he had everything under control until Squidrose reappeared and larger than ever. Tommy called for their zords. Squidrose managed to squeeze their megazord with paper and then throw blasting aspirin tablets at them. Eventually the Rangers were able to destroy Squidrose. Once Squidrose was destroyed, Tommy woke up. He blamed his strange dream on his calamari dinner. Tommy did not go back to sleep. Tommy was contacted by Ethan via the communicator and Tommy knew Ethan was going to say he had a bad dream. Ethan told him that Kira and Conner had as well, only Conner was trapped in his. Tommy suggested that Conner needed a little help. Ethan and Kira sent their power to Conner which helped Conner break from his dream. The next day, Tommy, Ethan, Conner, and Kira walked into Cyberspace exhausted. Tommy thought they all deserved a long weekend to chill. They heard a strange noise and went to investigate. Tommy and his students chuckled when they found Trent asleep on the couch and snoring.

Tommy stood on the sidelines with Kira and they both watch Conner and Ethan play soccer. Ethan was playing very well. Kira was surprised and asked Tommy if he thought it was another mind-alternating meteor. Tommy didn't think so. Conner scored a goal and within seconds the surrounding area turned black and white. Kira asked Tommy his thoughts on what had happened, but Tommy had no idea. Tommy spotted something and went to check it out. The something was a black border. Tommy walked through it and became a comic character. Conner and Kira followed him in. Kira thought they were in an alternate dimension, Ethan thought comic book dimension. Ethan followed them in and thought the whole thing was cool. Tommy told him that his experience with this sort of thing was that it was never cool. Tommy and his students ran into Fridgia. Fridgia did not want them in her world and a battle broke out. The Rangers were able to morph in the comic book dimension. The Rangers were having a tough time. Tommy had had enough and called out to Trent that they needed his help. Eventually Trent appeared to help the Rangers. The Rangers went into super dino mode and used their dino gem power to break free of the comic book dimension. They landed back in the real world and in front of Carson Brady. Tommy was giving his class a lecture on various dinosaurs. He turned around and asked a question. There was no response from the class. Tommy told Ethan that he should know this one, but even Ethan didn't response. Tommy asked the class if they could tell him what was wrong with Ethan. Kira told Tommy that Principal Randall had confiscated Ethan's and Devin's "Dragon Wars" cards. Tommy question Ethan on whether "Dragon Wars" was a kid's game. Ethan told him it was a game of strategy for all ages. Tommy told Ethan that he had to go with Principal Randall on this one, that there were no card games at school. Devin told Tommy that Principal Randall had taken Ethan's very rare Ruby Dragon card. Tommy told Ethan that he would see what he could do, if Ethan could pay attention in class. Ethan told Tommy anything for you. After class, Tommy went to see Principal Randall. He walked into her office and saw Principal Randall transform into Elsa. Tommy was stunned and told Principal Randall that he knew there was something he didn't like about her. Elsa told Tommy that it was too bad, they could have had something. Tommy didn't think so. Tommy and Elsa fought in her office. Elsa landed a powerful blow that cause Tommy to land on the floor. Elsa transform back into Principal Randall before walking out of the office. Tommy used his communicator to get a hold of Ethan. He told Ethan he had news about Principal Randall, that he was not going to believe. Tommy told Ethan that Principal Randall was Elsa. Tommy got up and left the building. He saw Principal Randall walking on the school grounds. Tommy caught up to her and another fight erupted. School was dismissed and crowds of students walked out of the building to witness the science teacher fighting the principal. Principal Randall transform into Elsa in front of everyone and the battle continued. Before Elsa vanished through an invisiportal, she told Tommy that he fought well for a science teacher. He told Elsa that she fought well for a principal. Elsa told him former principal, as she resigned. After the fight, Tommy got ready to inform the school board about Principal Randall. Ethan, Conner, and Kira walked up to him. Tommy arranged a training session for them at the edge of the woods for later that day. He had to leave to talk to the school board. Later, Tommy was in the woods with Ethan, Conner, and Kira. Trent had not arrived and while the others wondered about him, Tommy was not concerned. He figured Trent was simply being held up at Cyber cafe. Ruby Dragon monster appeared and they all knew what Elsa had done with Ethan's Ruby Dragon card. The Rangers morphed and battled Ruby Dragon. Eventually, morphed, Trent joined in the battle as well. Elsa and several Tyrannodrones appeared and joined in as well. Ruby Dragon and Elsa both dropped several hints that Trent was had a secret and it made the other Rangers question him. Ruby Dragon and Elsa retreated. The Rangers gathered around Trent and Tommy told Trent that if he had something to day, now was the time. They all returned to Tommy's home, where Tommy again emphasized to Trent to talk to them about whatever he may be hiding. Trent told them that he had discovered an invisiportal that transported him to Mesogog's fortress. Tommy was furious at Trent for going to Mesogog's fortress alone. Trent told them that he had tried to get Ethan's Ruby Dragon card back, but instead was dealt a serious blow by the Ruby Dragon monster. Trent told them that he barely made it out of there. Ethan and Conner both accepted this explanation, with Ethan telling Tommy that anyone of them would have done the same. Tommy didn't want any of them to ever pull a stunt like that again and told them so. Kira asked Trent if that was his big secret and Trent told her yes. Trent told them that his head was still foggy and he left. Tommy asked Kira if everything was okay and Kira replied that something didn't sound right with Trent. Before there could be further discussion, Ruby Dragon appeared on the computer screen. Tommy told the others they would let Trent get his head together before calling him. The Rangers morphed and went into battle with Ruby Dragon again. Morphed, Trent joined them. The battle escalated to zords. Tommy manned the Mesodon zord. Using their three zords, the Rangers destroyed Ruby Dragon. The following day, Tommy entered Reefside High School with Ethan, Conner, and Kira. He told Ethan that he hoped he had learned his lesson and Ethan had. Tommy spotted Anton and Trent and stopped them. He asked Anton how he was doing. Anton told him he understood they were looking for a new principal. Tommy was surprised and asked Anton if he was interested. Kira immediately piped up and told them that Dr. Mercer was far too busy to run a school. Ethan agreed. Anton told everyone to relax as Kira was right. Anton's pager went off and Anton reached into his coat pocket for it. As Anton removed the pager, the Ruby Dragon card fell out and landed out the floor. Tommy was puzzled as to how Anton had gotten the card and Ethan questioned him about it. Anton told them he had no idea how the card got into his pocket and asked Trent if it was his. Trent told him it wasn't and told them that he didn't know how the card got there. Tommy caught Anton as he swayed. Anton fell to his knees and Tommy asked if he was okay and did he need a doctor. Anton told him no and took off running. Tommy called out to Anton to wait and race after him. Anton called over his shoulder to leave him alone. Ethan, Conner, and Kira had joined Tommy to racing after Dr. Mercer. Trent ran along as well, pleading with them to leave his dad alone. Tommy called out that Anton needed a doctor. They all ended up in Tommy's science class. Anton turned around to face them and transform into Mesogog. Tommy couldn't believe that his friend Anton was Mesogog. Mesogog briefly transform back to Anton and Anton apologized to Trent before vanishing through an invisiportal. Tommy could only shake his head at Trent for hiding this information from them.

Tommy, Kira, Ethan, and Conner went to Tommy's home. They were all angry at Trent for not telling them that Mesogog was his dad. Kira thought they should give Trent a chance to explain. Tommy told them that he would get Trent and listen to him. But that there was a good chance that he would have Trent turn in his morpher. Tommy left to get Trent. When he returned with Trent they overhear Conner telling the rest of the Rangers, that Trent conveniently forgot to tell them that Mesogog was his dad. Trent told them that he never let his feelings interfere with his Ranger duties. Tommy told Trent that he had placed them in a difficult position and he didn't know if they could trust him again. Trent asked them what he could do to make things right. Trent reminded them that things had not been easy for him. Trent told them of how the evil white gem had found him, his discovery that his dad was Mesogog and his promise to his dad. Trent told them that his dad is the only family he has and that they both thought he could defeat Mesogog. Trent explained how before he could help his dad, he had to help himself by destroying the evil clone White Ranger. After Trent was done, Tommy told them that Anton was his friend and he could understand his loyalty. Tommy wasn't sure the rest of the Rangers could. On the computer screen a monster appeared. Tommy thought this was a good opportunity for Trent to prove himself. Conner was furious that they were going to trust Trent, but Kira and Ethan were willing as well. They all morphed and began to battle the monster. Tommy and Trent were both pushed into the water by the monster. They emerged from the water and continued the battle. Trent stopped the monster from dealing Conner a deadly blow. The battled moved up to zords. Tommy piloted the Mesodon zord, but it was Trent and his zord that destroyed the monster.
