The Cocoon was a powerful weapon webbed by Scorpius. He wanted that Trakeena, his daughter, enter it to turn into a powerful insect. Trakeena refused and fled. In the episode "Journey's End, Part 3", she decides to enter the cocoon, which turned into a horrifying humanoid insect, losing her mortal beauty.
