Takuji Yano (矢野 卓二,Yano Takuji?): An Academia student studying on the powering suits for space travel with Yuusuke Amamiya, Jou Oohara, Megumi Misaki, and Mari Aikawa. The older brother of Tetsuya and Takeshi. His prototype power suit featured a swallow. Yuusuke was his best friend. He was killed protecting his friends from Kenji's blasts. He promised his youngest brother Takeshi to build a dream car with him, his death resulting in the death of Takeshi's dream until he approached Yuusuke who agreed to help him build it, creating the Live Cougar. In the Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai Yuusuke is seen visiting his grave.
Notes
Had Takuji survived and developed his power, he would have been the first swallow-based hero in Sentai; that is currently held by Ako Hayasaka (Blue Swallow) of Choujin Sentai Jetman.
