Super Sentai Versus Series Theater: Battle 28 (スーパー戦隊VSシリーズ劇場 BATTLE-28 Sūpā Sentai Bāsasu Shirīzu Gekijō BATTLE-28) is the twenty-eighth installment of the Super Sentai Versus Series Theater. Showcasing part 1 of the 2008 film Juken Sentai Gekiranger vs. Boukenger, its broadcast accompanied Tensou Sentai Goseiger Epic 44: The Ultimate Final Battle.

Pre-show[]
Welcoming the audience to the Super Sentai Versus Series Theater's twenty-eighth episode, Juken Sentai Gekiranger vs. Boukenger - Part 1, the Goseigers remind the audience of the 30th anniversary Sentai Boukenger who will be joined today by the Juken Sentai Gekiranger, whose story is summarized on Datas:
- Master Sha-Fu teaches the Beast-Fist of justice, Beast Arts. Training with him are talented warriors who fight the practitioners of the evil Beast-Fist, Rinjuken Akugata.
Agri reveals that he has wanted to learn martial arts and respects the Gekirangers for the especially harsh training they have taken. Presenting this teamup of Gekiranger and Boukenger, the Goseigers leave it to Datas who screens the feature.
Post-show[]
Part 1 closes as the Goseigers note that Sakura is acting strangely with her eyes on the jewels while Moune urges to keep fate in the Super Sentai Soul. The team is dismayed when Alata announces that next week's conclusion will be the last of the Super Sentai Versus Series Theater but are excited to know that their own Versus movie with Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, coming to theaters on January 21st 2011. Alata is nervous to be meeting the lord Shinken Red who will be fighting both the Goseigers and his team while Buredoran joins forces with the Gedoushu to do evil, forcing the Goseigers and Shinkengers to cross their Tensou and Mojikara for the showdown. Alata and Hyde remind the viewers to stay on their channel to see their own showdown with Robogog on Goseiger at 7:30 and to watch the last Super Sentai Versus Series Theater next week.
