Shin Kishida (岸田 森 Kishida Shin) was a Japanese actor, best known for his supporting roles in films and television series. He played Daizaburou Arashiyama in Taiyou Sentai Sun Vulcan.
He additionally portrayed Morizo Arashiyama in episode 24.
On 28 December 1982, only eleven months after Sun Vulcan ended, Kishida died of esophageal cancer, aged 43. Shortly after news of Kishida's passing, television reruns of Sun Vulcan, which was his final tokusatsu series, began in the Tokyo area, and his first appearance in the opening episode of the series was accompanied by a memorial message.
Actor Asao Kobayashi, who played Asao Hyou/VulPanther, was so overcome by the shock of Kishida’s sudden death that he took a hiatus from acting and left show business permanently a few years later.
