Icon-supersamuraiThis article is about a Zord in Power Rangers Super Samurai.

For the similarly named Zord in Power Rangers Ninja Steel, see Ninja Bull Zord.

The BullZord was a massive red bull-like Zord that dragged a black cart behind it and served as the final Zord gained by the Samurai Rangers.

Overview[]

The BullZord is summoned by the BullZord Disc and can move at insane speeds. It has cannons mounted on its shoulders to bombard its enemies and its horns can be used to buck the enemy into the air and away. The Samurai Megazord could ride atop of the cart with the Zord still pulling it, allowing for a raised attack.

Appearances: SS Episodes 6-8, 11-13, 15, 20

History[]

Past[]

300 years ago, the BullZord arrived in this dimension, after having previously been created by the Guardians. The BullZord however was uncontrollable and rampaged across the countryside. The Grand Shogun, seeing how destructive it had become, ordered that it be hidden for all eternity.

Super Samurai[]

In 2012, a young Guardian named Cody is able to communicate with it and frees the Zord to try to tame it with his own disk. However, he is unable to do so and it rampaged once again. When Cody's Father finally gives Jayden the original disk it was created with, the Bull Disk, Cody is finally able to tame it. It is summoned by the BullZord Disc. After fighting and killing Crustor who is also after the BullZord, Jayden sends Cody home and unleashes its true power as a Zord to destroy Crustor the Mega Monster. Tvicon TV STORY-The BullZord

The BullZord is summoned along with most of the other Zords to form the Gigazord to fight Master Xandred for his final battle but is cut off using a devastating energy slash. Its ultimate fate is unknown, possibly destroyed or just badly damaged, but it didn't matter since Master Xandred is able to be killed by the lone Samurai Megazord. Tvicon TV STORY-Samurai Forever

Bull Megazord[]

The Bull Megazord is a giant robot that is formed from the Zord itself and its cart having undergone the transformation. It was Jayden's personal Megazord. In this form, Bull Megazord is able to unleash a torrent of firepower from its shoulder cannons and armed with a massive laser blaster dubbed the Revolving Laser Blaster. After Jayden gained the Bullzooka, the BullZord could equip itself with a gigantic version of it.

Its final attack was the Revolving Laser Blaster Final Strike where it used the symbol power for "ferocious" ( ) to fire its Gatling cannon whilst unleashing a burst of symbol power from the disk loaded on its head to mow down the enemy. A stronger variation was the Mega Revolving Laser Blaster when the pilot was in Shogun Mode but was otherwise identical in nature to the normal attack. It was used to finish off Crustor, teamed up with the Claw Battlezord, and LightZord to finish off Epoxar, and teamed up with the Samurai Lightzord to finish off Maldan.

Appearances: SS Episodes 6, 7, 11-13, 15

Additional Formations[]

Samurai Gigazord[]

The Samurai Gigazord was the combination of the main eleven Zords (excluding the SharkZord and LightZord) at the Samurai Ranger's disposal and their Ultrazord. To form it; the Bull Megazord's cart opened up for Claw Armor Megazord to stand on whilst the Samurai Battle Cannon attached to the back of the Bull Megazord. the Claw Armor Megazord's arms attached to Bull Megazord and were replaced with his arms with the TigerZord's drills attached. The Ape Folding Zord and Turtle FoldingZord attached to the axles of the cart, the OctoZord's legs attached to the front of Claw Armor Megazord and Bull Megazord's chest was placed on top, revealing the kanji for "All" (全, Zen). The transformation finished when the Lobster Swords attached to the Ultrazord's helmet and Bull Megazord's cannon attached above the helmet, with the Samurai Gigazord ultimately appearing as if on a throne/pedestal. Due to its massive size, the Samurai Gigazord could not move under its own power and instead moves along using the zord cart. Samurai Gigazord could attack with its sword and the Claw Armor Megazord's claws in the Claw Pincer Slash. Its super move was the Ultimate Samurai Slash where it fully energized its sword with golden energy strong enough to cut Skarf's arm shield in two and completely destroy Grinataur with one hit,

Its finishing attack was the Symbol Power Mega Strike where they summoned the symbols of all Zords in the combination and then have the Gigazord twirl around its sword to energize the cannon on its head. Said cannon would then fire a massive golden energy beam at the monster, slamming into and obliterating them. A stronger variation was the Shogun Strike when a Ranger was in Shogun Mode but was otherwise identical in nature to the normal attack. It was used to finished off Scarf, Grinataur, and Gigertox.

Appearances: SS Episodes 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 20

Samurai Shark Gigazord[]

The Samurai Shark Gigazord is the final combination of all twelve Zords (excluding the LightZord), true form of Samurai Gigazord and strongest Megazord in the whole Samurai Rangers' arsenal. In this form, the Samurai Gigazord wields the SharkZord which has the ability to block lightning-based attacks. Its finishing attack was the Ultimate Samurai Slash where the Rangers summoned the symbol power of all the Zords (excluding the LightZord), energizing the SharkZord to deliver a devastating golden energy slash to slice the enemy in half.

The formation is only used once in Stroke of Fate, in Serrator's final battle.

Samurai Gigazord and its components

  • The Bull Megazord toy was a completely original mold as it did not have the electronics of the Japanese mecha version and was designed to be less blocky and more humanoid.
  • The BullZord, according to Mentor Ji, was the oldest known Zord, at least on Earth.
  • The Gigazord was one of the largest Ultrazords in Power Rangers history.
  • Although the LightZord never combined with the Gigazord in the show, the toy version could use it as a shield.
  • The Bullzord is similar to the Turbo Falcon Zord and the Paleozords, in that those Zords got locked away for being uncontrollable, yet the Rangers managed to control both.
