Punishment Sailor Sisters

The Punishment Sailor Sisters (35) are a Sentai-esque fighting trio once composed of Tsuruhime and her friends Yukiyo, and Tsukiyo. They often said the phrase, "In the name of heaven, we will punish you!" Yukiyo was armed with red clubs, Tsukiyo had a blue ribbon, and Tsuruhime had a pink ball.

The Punishment Sailor Sisters are among the warriors seen in clips when Miku Imamura (MegaPink) lectured Sae Taiga (GaoWhite) about the past female Super Sentai warriors and their shared mastery of disguise and habit of changing their clothing in the blink of an eye, something that Sae had never done before. • The combination of the Punishment Sailor Sisters is in reference to the Toei Fushigi Comedy Yuugen Jikkou Sisters Shushutorian, which starred the same actresses.
• The Sailor Sisters are also a pretty clear reference to the 90s anime Sailor Moon, which also produced by Toei, was intended to be a female version of Super Sentai, and was still on the air during that time period. Their speech references Sailor Moon's famous catchphrase "In the name of the moon, I will punish you!" This would be the first time a Super Sentai show parodied Sailor Moon, the second being in Gekisou Sentai Carranger.
• The roll call of Punishment Sailor Sisters inspired the roll call for another ninja season.
