Power Rangers Time Force is a video game inspired by the 9th season of the series, Power Rangers: Time Force released in April 15, 2001 for Game Boy Color, September 2001 for Game Boy Advance and November 7, 2001 for PlayStation.
The game is available for the PlayStation, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and PC.
Game Boy Color
The Game Boy Color version, developed by Natsume, is a side-scrolling action game where you take control of one of the five Time Force rangers through these eight levels:
- Silver Hills
- Underwater Base
- Fabled City
- Fabled City Future/Past (depends if either Nardia or Gluto is defeated in Fabled City)
- Energy Plant
- Secret Base
After defeating the boss the player must finish it off by lining up the target with the boss using the Vortex Blaster. You only get three shots, but you can also find two additional shots in the level. Levels are timed and Megazord Battles begin in Chapter 3. You can pick from either Red or Blue mode. If the Time Force Megazord gets destroyed three times in battle then you control the Shadow Force Megazord to make things easier.
Game Boy Advance
The Game Boy Advance version, developed by Vicarious Visions is a side-scrolling action game where the player takes control of the six Time Force Power Rangers (The player must find a Quantum Morpher to play as the Quantum Ranger) through different time periods.
The PlayStation version, developed by Climax Studios is a 3D action game with all six rangers playable (Quantum Ranger must be unlocked) through these seven levels:
- The Path To Silver Hills
- Hostage of Time
- Peril On The High Seas
- The Dawn Of Time
- Midnight Castle
- The Coliseum of Frax
- The Final Mutation
The player can find a Time Artifact is hidden in each level, and a health bar bonus is awarded if the level is completed within the time limit. All seven artifacts must be collected to unlock the Quantum Ranger.
