Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue is a game based on the 8th season of the series Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue. This game was developed and produced for various platforms.

The game involves the various Rangers in various scenarios.

The PlayStation version was a beat 'em up with Zord battles.

  • Playable Characters:
    • Red Lightspeed Ranger
    • Blue Lightspeed Ranger
    • Green Lightspeed Ranger
    • Yellow Lightspeed Ranger
    • Pink Lightspeed Ranger
    • Titanium Ranger (Only after you free him in the last stage or using cheat codes).

The game features these seven levels:

  1. Operation Lightspeed
  2. Lightspeed Teamwork
  3. Rail Rescue
  4. Go Volcanic
  5. Safety First
  6. Lightspeed Rescue
  7. The Road to Skull Cavern

The game can be played as one or two player mode and also features voice clips by the actual Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue actors and actresses. Once Chosen, the player/players stay as the chosen ranger/rangers for the whole game. For the Megazord Battle, the player on controller one can use the Supertrain Megazord. For the final stage, it's replaced with the Omega Megazord. Another special feature for the game is a password system, where special cheat codes can give the rangers infinite health, lives, continues and powered up attacks, as well as access to an art and picture gallery, the option to begin the game on any of the first six of the seven levels and the Titanium Ranger. The Final stage of the game can only be accessed if the player saves the game on the PlayStation Memory Card after completing the penultimate one.

Nintendo 64

The Nintendo 64 version is a top-down shooter with flying and driving missions, plus Megazord battles. The game features the "Titanium Quest" story mode and the two-player Megazord arena

Game Boy Color

The Game Boy Color version was a platformer that contains 6 areas.

The first 5 areas consist of 3 stages:

  • Stage 1: Getting to the end of the stage while rescuing civilians.
  • Stage 2: Getting to the boss while fighting Batlings.
  • Stage 3: Fighting the boss again with the Lightspeed Megazord

If all 20 civilians are rescued, and all 20 Batlings in each area are defeated (in addition to getting to the end of the first stage with good health and the second stage with good time), then Area 6 will be available with 2 stages:

Defeating Diabolico earns the player a password where the previous bosses can be battled with the Supertrain Megazord.
