Nippon Columbia (日本コロムビア Nippon Koromubia) (formerly known as Columbia Music Entertainment, Inc. and Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd) is a record label that produces music for the entertainment industry. It is known in the USA as Savoy Records, which itself was formerly an independent US label until being bought out by Nippon Columbia in 1991.
The company had partnered with Bandai Music Entertainment to provide songs for Toei's TV shows, including the Super Sentai Series, until the Bandai record label's closure in 2000. This resulted in some of the music produced in the series now being provided by its competitor Avex Group.
Despite this, Nippon Columbia is still one of Super Sentai's major sponsors.
