Monzennakachōhashibirokō (門前仲町ハシビロコウ, lit. Monzen-Nakachō Shoebill) is the first of the Chief Clerks to be not to be based on a bug, but on a bird species. He appears when Akiba Red and Akiba Yellow force themselves not to enter into any delusions but ultimately fail, because of Nobuo's wild imaginations (this time, of girls in cosplay). His ultimate goal is to remove worldly impurities and desires, altogether, from the hearts and minds of humans.

Styled like a monk, he sees himself as helping in the admonition of humans towards a desire-free existence.
