Space Sheriff Gavan Arrives! (宇宙刑事ギャバン、現る！, Uchū Keiji Gyaban, Arawaru!^?) is the thirty-first episode of Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters. It is the first of a two part team-up with Gavan Type-G.

Synopsis

With Vaglass supposedly defeated, the Go-Busters are surprised to be alerted to the appearance of a strange energy in the city. When they investigate they find a robotic woman named Shelly who says she is the partner of Space Sheriff Gavan. After Ryuji, Yoko, and Shelly are sucked into Makuku Space, Hiromu must team up with Gavan to stop Rhino Doubler from causing trouble in the city.

Notes

• As part of Super Hero Time, this episode aired alongside Kamen Rider Wizard episode 4, The Doll and the Pianist.
• This and the next episode marks the second team up with a Super Sentai team and a Space Sheriff. The first was the team up with the original Space Sheriff Gavan (not Type-G) and the Gokaigers in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs. Uchuu Keiji Gavan: The Movie.
  • The popularity of the Gokaiger vs. Gavan movie was what led to the new film, Uchuu Keiji Gavan: The Movie, the revival of the Space Sheriff series, which introduces Gavan Type-G. It also featured a traditional "early-bird cameo" which introduced the Go-Busters.
  • In the same fashion as Gokaiger vs. Gavan, a narrator explains Geki's "Electroplate" process. However, it did not explain Hiromu's change process as it did with the Gokaigers.
• With Shelly confirmed to appear in this episode and the next, this marks the second time a Sentai alumni has returned in a new role in Go-Busters, as Shelly's actor Suzuka Morita had previously played Kotoha Hanaori/Shinken Yellow. The first returning actor was Hiroya Matsumoto as Masato Jin/Beet Buster, ironically another former Yellow Ranger as Tsubasa Ozu/MagiYellow.
  • Coincidentally, both came back after Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, where their teammates had made appearances, but they had not (outside of the Great Legend War).
• This is the first episode of the series where the Go-Busters refer to themselves as Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters.
