My name is Jay, a recent subscriber to your wiki. I was interested in gaining editorial access to some of your more popular wiki entries for editing purposes. I am an unemployed Master's student of English and I hold a particular fond area in my heart for the Super Sentai series and during my frequent perusal of this wiki I have noticed many spelling and grammatical errors that have vexed me as I am unable to correct them. In short, I do not wish to change content of pages, but I merely wish to alter spellings that I ahve noticed are incorrect, most likely due to the speed of the person typing them. For instance, I have taken up an interest recently in the Abaranger series as I have recently finished watching Dino Thunger on Netflix. As I was reading the Arsenal page I noticed this error
"It can roar like Blastasaur Brachiosaurus. Has four different adjustments which can create different elemetnal attacks when he thrusts it into the ground." Elemental in this case is spelled incorrectly. On average I notice one or more of these small errors per day, granted I am a very recent member of this wiki but I have been coming to this website since mid November of last year.
In short my request is thus, I wish to be given editorial powers so I may fix these small errors as I see them.
Until recently, we protected all non-talk pages against anonymous users to prevent vandalism by anonymous users. Unfortunately, a side effect of this is newly registered members cannot edit the pages. Because so much of the wiki was protected in this way until our recent switch to block all anonymous users, we can't go undo the protection on all the pages. The best way to get access is to be here for 4 days, or make 10 edits. Your help in fixing spelling or grammar errors would be helpful.
We can pretty much stop protecting pages, unless editors get unruly. But unless we can automate un-protecting the pages that's going to be a tedious task.
