I was talkig with NBAjammer bout this the other day, and I just double checked his message, he said "Gokyr noted the scan shows the full name in lowecase- can we be sure it's Zyuoh the World" and not "Zyuoh The World" like we've been using?" I initially took that to mean we would use 'the' but now that I reread that he probably meant 'do we have a source'? I'm literally okay either way though.
Yeah, we still have no way of proving that The is incorrect. That last scan was all lower case. The only other source, I think, has it in all capitals. We need a source that uses mixed case text. Otherwise, the default would be to use capital initials, as it's a name. Anyway, the main reason I changed it back on the Sentai Spellings page was because changing it from The to the created a red link.
When i spoke to Gokyr, I had not noticed that it was all lowercase as he was speaking specifically about the word "the". But really I'm not sure we've got a specific source for either spelling. As for whether we would, well, I don't know that either because afaik nothing has ever had his name specifically on it. Most cases like this that I've seen use it lower-case, except for titles of movies/tv shows. I suppose that his name refers to World and as such the would be lower-case. But finding an accurate source for any spelling would be helpful.
Hello James, I'm a new member in here. I just have a entreat hope you accept. I think you are an admin in here so you may know Vietnamese actress Thuy Trang. I'm Vietnamese so I know her. I will give for this page informations soon. Now is my trouble: Her full name is Trinh Thuy Trang (Trịnh Thuỳ Trang in Vietnamese, I'm Vietnamese so I'm well known that) so Trang is her name. I want any page refer to her should call "Trang" is better than "Thuy" - her middle name. I explain it but seem no one heard me. I hope you saw that and answer me :)
I am yet to be totally convinced by this status quo of the additional Go-Busters being called 6th rangers. I am aware that they didn't appear in the Getter 2016 credits (which was only for a few seconds), but if we're being so literal then by that logic Zyuoh the World isn't a 6th. I mean what makes Beet and Stag so special from the additional Livemen, Gouraigers and Gekirangers (Gekiranger in particular since Violet was a new colour and white is a traditional 6th colour)?
If Beet and Stag Buster (and to that extent Gold Beetle and Silver Stag) are considered 6ths, I'll accept it no questions, but I'm feeling that everyone is jumping on the bandwagon a bit too quickly.
I still think they're no less deserving of Core status than Geki Violet and Chopper. But sadly the fact they're not in the Sentai Getter does serve as strong evidence against it. I do agree though it technically would make The World core team.
Basically the only bit of evidence we have that they're core other than logic is the fact that The World was in it even though he's obviously not core. But I do agree this wiki should treat them as 6ths.
The new hero getter shows gokai changes from the core teams from goranger all the way to ninninger. This is evidenced by the fact the zyuohgers were shown to transform from their zyuman forms. I think the reason it was done this way is because the zyuohgers haven't given their powers to the gokaigers yet, therefore the zyuohger ranger keys don't exist yet, and therefore the zyuohgers aren't gokai changes in the hero getter.
Pretty much. So while we'd love to treat them as core members, we have official sources to say they are effectively Sixths. And if you think about it, it would make sense. They have no Green/Black or Pink/White counterpart for Don or Ahim, and when you add in Gai there's 3 Gokaigers for 2 keys and no way to tell which is or should be which. The best way to classify them is to do so as Sixths - and remember from Gokaiger episode 18 that would not preclude Don or Ahim from using either key if the situation called for it, as Ahim used Go-On Silver in 18 despite that being a Sixth Ranger key.
And even if the hero getter didn't confirm it, I still think Beet & Stag Busters are a little more deserving than the others simply cause they're gold and silver, the two most used colours for sixth rangers, and we never have metallic coloured core rangers at all.
Also, while we're on the topic of go-busters sixth rangers, I think green hippopotamus should be reclassified as an extra ranger, and gold beetle and silver stag as sixth rangers (don't see why they should be treated any differently)
Yeah, the reason The World appeared in the teamup ending clip is because those were the actual Zyuohgers, not the main five Gokaigers Gokai Changed like all the others. His presence in the ending doesn't say he's not a sixth. Beet and Stag were introduced when a sixth normally would, and they're the last new rangers that season outside of the Doubutsu movie.
I can't remember that, but I do remember AbareKiller was also referred to as the 5th Abaranger. I also remember ninjaman being called both a 6th ranger and extra hero, yet his 6th ranger statsus is debateable according to the wiki? If you're referring to the mecha numbering, all I can say is the number 6 doesn't always mean 6th ranger.
I know that. I'm not saying AbareKiller isn't a 6th ranger, cause he is. All I'm saying is even if it is stated that he was the 6th member it shouldn't be taken too literally, cause it's not confirmation. I just rewatched it, and him saying he's the 6th member is not any more confirmation than any other statements made outside of gokaiger. As for Ninjaman, the same case can be made for Gosei Knight.
While we're on the subject, someone uploaded a picture from a magazine on the Sentai Sixth Ranger page with an odd mishmash of Extra Heroes/Rangers, additional Rangers, sixth Rangers, and even the Neo-Jetman. Can anyone translate and figure out what that's for?
Also, I thought Ninjaman is basically right in the middle of being an Extra Hero and a Sixth Ranger, since Gokaiger called him one at one point?
Deleted image of Zyuoh keys are it is fan-made. Also as DC said, anyone pre-Gokaiger who was a Sixth was categorized as such. Gai himself was clearly a Sixth. Ninjaman was not part of that, nor does he transform as the Kakurangers do, so at best he is an Extra Hero. Gokaiger also explains more or less why there was no ranger key for him, though a toy one was made.
That magazine scan just shows any new rangers and has been posted in numerus places and on a number of forums, and the consensus across the board is that it is not a trusted resource. Some rangers are missing, and the inclusion of the Neo Jetman and the Flowery Konoichi Squad makes it very problematic. And the show almost always trump all other sources, unless specifically stated by toei.
