Hello, Digifiend. I'm Speedit, a member of the Vanguard team. It's good to meet you! :)
I understand that we offered our support for migrating to Portable Infoboxes last year, and that we didn't get the wiki across the finish line.
I'm happy to lend my assistance and get the migration back on track, if you wish. If there's any questions about the help I'm offering, or this is the wrong venue for my message, do please let me know.
I would like to request for Sledge’s page to be locked for moments until Super Ninja Steel began air next year. We’re still not sure he will have a vital role on later Power Rangers season titles like some of those Zordon Era villains such as Lord Zedd & Elgar (formerly Rita Repulsa & Karone), or only as a minor.
I am wanting to make sure on something in Dino Thunder is Kira or Tommy the second-in-command, also in the 2017 Movie is Billy or Kimberly the second-in-command? The reason I am wanting to make sure I am right (I believe Tommy is in Dino Thunder and Billy is in the 2017 Movie, but Kimberly could be) is because a user chnaged it on the Second-in-Command category page and removed the categories from Tommy and Billy (2017) I have re-added Tommy and the category to his article but the 2017 movie is kind of hard to figure out who is second-in-command.
To me, it's Tommy in Dino Thunder. He certainly has the knowledge and experience to be the leader, but his role is as mentor. Kira would be 3rd, or 2nd if Tommy is not around. I havent seen the 2017 movie so I dont know who it would be there.
That is my thought on the whole 2nd in command thing also with Dino Thunder. Now the 2017 movie I have seen but I can't figure out who is 2nd in command because heck we never see the Rangers with only four during a battle. Since you haven't seen it I recommand that if Digifiend replys not to read since I might end spoiling part of it in the message but only if Digifiend has seen it.
I haven't seen the movie either - but I don't think it matters for this query. ...
Agreed, because there was nothing in the movie that gives off any indication as to who it is. Not to mention, we’ve only gotten one movie, so that alone isn’t enough just like how one episode usually isn’t enough to determine an SIC.
... If you can't be certain about who the second in command is, don't label anyone as that role.
Something this user needs to understand. I’ve had to revert his edits to the SIC categories multiple times (nat at the same time, thankfully) since the majority of those edits were baseless assumptions, some before the show even airs.
Honestly, I wish there was a set-in-stone way of determining who an SIC is, even when it isn’t directly established in in the season (there’s an episode in one of the Samurai seasons that gives an example of this by establishing Kevin as SIC, but I can’t remember the title).
True, there is that, as seen with (Super) Megaforce and ToQger.
Correct me if I’m wrong but frankly, that’s been a recurring theme I’ve seen with some of the recent Sentai and PR shows lately; there’s no indication of who is/whether or not there is a SIC at all, thus leaving the position implied, as shown with the Tommy example you gave.
Why in the Template: EpisodeInfo do you refer to Latin America only as Brazil?
In Latin America, Cartoon Network is not divided by countries, but by "feeds" that alternate the schedules according to the region. And obviously, the Brazilian feed is in Portuguese unlike the others that are in Spanish.
You should know that when an episode debuts in Brazil, also debuts in Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina and the rest of Latin America the same day.
