Hello Digifiend. Hope you're having a good weekend. I just wanted to ask if a decision had been made on the Power Ranger Legend about adding the Rangers from Legendary Battle on it. No hurries, just wanted to ask. Thank you for your time. :)
No new responses on Category_talk:Power_Ranger_Legend, so it's no consensus and probably no to adding the Legendary Battle cameos. There's no real distinction between those whose actors appeared in person and those who were fake shemps, and so with the way the category description is worded, you'd be including everyone except the Dino Charge team.
The only rangers who functioned similarly to those on the Sentai page are those two - the rest were mere cameos. Normally I would say we dont need a category for just 2-3 people (3 if you include Mentor Ji), but since there is a Sentai counterpart I think an exception could be made here. Otherwise we'd have to rework both categories and they would lose their initial intended purpose.
I'm trying to figure out how to do disambiguations for these three due to how varied they tend to get in the franchise:
Frankenstein is probably the easy one: outside the weird multiple forms that Zyuranger does with him (the Frankenstein Monster and Mutitus), its probably rather basic (though there is also "French Frankenstein" from Gorenger)
Dracula is tough since its not just him but all sorts of vampires throughout the franchise, from random MotW bat creatures to ones like Vancuria; heck Dracula himself even appeared in Sun Vulcan (and all this while Billy the Kid gets a KR Ghost form)
And then there's the Wolf Man...where at least two Rangers (four at least if you count Merrick and RJ from PR) have to be counted among those who had lycanthrope conditions.
I think you oughta save the disambis for pages that actually share the name (like Frankenstein) not conditions and motifs. The Gedoshu is different since they are the inspirations for the Yokai throughout history.
Yeah at least with Frankenstein, we have Dora Franken alongside this one (and I also throw in "Victory General Branken" from Magiranger since his motif is Frankenstein) I will at least get a disambiguation set up for that.
Just a suggestion, but I know the Kamen Rider Wiki has categories for monsters of similar motifs (Aspect Monster, Cockroach Monster, Big Cat Monster, etc.) Could that work with instances similar to the Dracula and Wolf Man Yokai?
Depends really. I know someone wanted to do "Food Monster" category prior but that didn't really work. Its easier with KR to get categories when you have many that are based on animals and certain concepts or ideas; in Sentai its a bit tougher since you have some "anything goes" seasons, some with monsters based on animals specifically (Goggle V, Dynaman, Megaranger...until the Neziranger show up), some with just generic or bizarre ideas, and so on. I still say there should be a generic disambiguation for vampires (or those with vampiric abilities since this would include bat monsters, an alien or two and such) and werewolves/lycans (even with the possibility of including some Rangers in there too), but I need to work this out.
Yeah, I see your point, Especially when you take Lightspeed Rescue and Gokaiger into account. Still, I think a lot of the KRWiki categories for this only seem larger when all the sub-categories are put together. Up to you how you want to do it, though. I was just giving a second option.
Hey Digifiend, I recently noticed Billy2009, a user of this wiki, is a plagiarist of other's ideas, as well as a spammer and nonsense writer (a troll basically). I have proof of his actions on the other wikis, and I'm saying to ban him now here until he can do his next action and copy more ideas, as well as annoy users.
In MARVEL Fanon, he already menaced the life of a user.
If you would actually do your research and READ the bio, you would see that Mr. Press WAS an actor, key word here, WAS. You could find information on the internet or maybe even watch a Power Rangers Zeo episode. Thank you for taking the time to delete my work before checking your sources.
There is no need for you to be rude. If Mr. Press was an actor and appeared in episodes of Zeo, maybe it would have been better for your page to reference the specific episode(s) of Zeo in which he appeared, or stated the name of the person her portrayed. Simply putting up a nearly blank actor page does not authenticate the need for said page or that any portion of it is factual.
Yes. Even if the information was correct, I would still have had to redo it because you didn't use the proper preload template. I see that someone with that name did play Raymond in a couple of Zeo episodes - but I do not see proof that your website link and photo belong to the same person and not a namesake.
