Machiko Soga (March 18, 1938-May 7, 2006) played three major roles in the Super Sentai series: Queen Hedrian in Denshi Sentai Denjiman and Taiyou Sentai Sun Vulcan, Queen Bandora in Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger and Heavenly Arch Saint Magiel in Mahou Sentai Magiranger.
The producers of the American Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers series used Zyuranger footage of Soga for the character of Rita Repulsa from "Day of the Dumpster" to "An Oyster Stew." Soga also dubbed the voice of Rita Repulsa when the American Power Rangers series was dubbed into Japanese.
After her 2006 passing, the producers of Power Rangers: Mystic Force used footage of Soga's final toku role-Heavenly Arch Saint Magiel in Magiranger-as the basis of the character "Mystic Mother" in the two-part final episode of Mystic Force, "Mystic Fate."
