Hiryuu Tsurugi was previously an officer of the Earth Defense Force Air Force. A sharpshooter and star baseball pitcher in high school, an accident in a game leads to his quitting baseball. While he is a courageous and responsible leader, he often lets his emotions get the best of him and becomes emotionally invested in cases.
