Rita Repulsa schemes to do to the Rangers what she did to Zordon long ago, and trap them inside a Time Warp. Meanwhile, Trini must confront her fear of heights to rescue Billy when he's chased up a mountain by Rita's Putty Patrollers.

• First appearance of the Rangers' Communicators, invented by Billy.

• First time the Rangers fight two monsters in one episode.

• This is the "Yellow Ranger's" episode for the VHS Released episodes.

[edit] Errors

• When Jason calls for the Dinozords, only the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord appears.

• Billy drops his morpher when fighting a Putty Patroler, and does not retrieve it. Yet he has it when they morph later on in the episode.
• when the giant appears in the city rita's palace can be seen next to him
• the time shuttle was destoryed but when the rangers fly out billy can be seen holding the shuttle
