General Venjix was the leader of the Machine Empire Remnant, who discovered the location of Serpentera on the Moon of Earth and began digging it up. He claimed that he was going to avenge the "untimely destruction" of King Mondo, along with the remaining Machine Empire Generals and their Cogs. After digging up Serpentera, he powered it with a Neo Plutonium reactor. However, before he could put his plans into action, ten Red Rangers stormed into his base and defeated his cogs.

When he and the other generals attempted to board Serpentera, they were stopped by the Red Rangers again. Venjix faced off against the original Red Ranger, Jason Lee Scott, and the newest Red Ranger at the time, Cole Evans. The veteran and rookie Red Rangers were able to overpower Venjix while the other Red Rangers defeated the other generals, but Venjix was able to escape and board Serpentera. He attempted to use it to destroy Earth, but before he could leave the moon, Cole Evans used his Wild Force Rider to destroy Serpentera. Venjix was killed, along with the destruction of the Zord, thus ending the Machine Empire for good.

• The costume suit used for Venjix's appearance in Forever Red was a recycled suit from Saban's own Beetleborgs. In Beetleborgs, the Venjix suit was originally Shadowborg, the evil Beetleborg that was created to destroy the heroes. Shadowborg was eventually destroyed.
• A viral network known as the Venjix Computer Network is the primary antagonist of Power Rangers R.P.M, eager to destroy the city of Corinth with it's powerful Machine Army. However there appears to be no connection between these two.
