Valko served Gruumm and Mora, and wanted impress Gruumm to become his Second-In-Command, right hand, general and deputy ruler of the Troobian Empire. He also controlled the powerful cyborg named Goradon. Valko wanted to impress Gruumm by destroying the Power Rangers and Delta Base and conquering the Earth with the aid of Goradon. However, Valko's efforts were in vain and led to his capture and containment in the Data Card. Valko serves as the main antagonist of the episode "Wired".

History[]

Little is known about Valko. It is known that he is an evil alien warrior with a fierce reputation for terrorism and destruction. He is also general of the Perterian army.

In the season of Power Rangers S.P.D., Valko worked for Gruumm and Mora. In the fourteenth episode, Gruumm became annoyed by all failures, which he got during his war with the Power Rangers and he was now extremely wrathful and wanted to punish Mora by turning her into her real original form - Morgana. However, Gruumm gave Mora one last chance to prove her loyalty to him and he told her to find a new Second-In-Command and general for him and a new plan to conquer the Earth.

Mora proposed Gruumm to Valko. Mora told Gruumm that Valko was a brutal, ruthless and terrible warrior, nearly as Gruumm, and he would be a perfect Second-In-Command and general for Gruumm. Gruumm agreed, but he said that if Valko would show himself perfectly and help him conquer the Earth, Gruumm would spare Mora, but if he fail Mora would lose her favorite child form and be transformed into her real form - Morgana, which she hates.

Mora arrived at the home planet of Valko and found him. Valko was training by blasting the rocks. Valko gladly met Mora and asked what she was doing on his planet. Mora told Valko that she came to recruit him as Gruumm's new Second-In-Command and the new general of Gruumm's army. Valko was happy and said that together with Gruumm they could conquer the entire galaxy, but Mora told Valko he had to prove himself at first that he was worthy of being Gruumm's Second-In-Command and general.

Gruumm told Mora that he possessed the creature of incredible power - Goradon and this powerful being would impress Gruumm to make him his Second-In-Command.

Valko arrived on Earth at the rocks near Newtech City and used his seismic detector to find Goradon in the ground. Valko ordered Goradon to rise and destroy. The ground trembled under his legs and a giant crater appeared there.

It was detected by seismic sensors of S.P.D. Headquarters and Rangers and Kat arrived at that place and made the analysis of rocks.

Valko then arrived at Gruumm's ship and told his plan to Gruumm. Valko came to Gruumm, greeting his new master and openly admitted that he was unworthy to be Gruumm's Second-In-Command and general. Gruumm agreed. Gruumm wasn't yet satisfied by Valko and even abused him by calling him a worm. Mora introduced Valko as Gruumm's new Second-In-Command and general. Gruumm considered Valko unworthy to be his general unless Valko would prove himself worthy. Valko told Gruumm about Goradon and said that he will find a Sirian database of S.P.D. Patrol Headquarters to control Goradon.

Gruumm and Mora didn't believe Valko at first, as Goradon was considered uncontrollable, but Valko convinced his new masters that he would be able to control Goradon via Series One Processor Hyper Intelligent Encryptor. Gruumm was now satisfied and sent Valko to find Goradon, activate him and bring him to Gruumm.

Valko arrived in the forest and met Broodwing. Broodwing called Valko a fool for awaking Goradon, but Valko told Broodwing that he would become Gruumm's Second-In-Command, by impressing him with Goradon. Broodwing told Valko that Goradon is uncontrollable and there's no technology able to control him. However, Valko convinced Broodwing that he would find and steal the technology on the S.P.D. Headquarters and take control over Goradon. Broodwing said Valko is even bigger fool than he thought told Valko he couldn't attack the Delta Base and would easily fail, but Valko paid Broodwing and bought a robot for the attack on the base. Broodwing was glad and sold Tyning to Valko.

Valko attacked S.P.D. Base with an army of Krybots. Valko encountered the Rangers, when they trained cadets of D-Squad, and sarcastically mocked the Rangers, asking if it was disturbing the peace. Valko told the heroes that they had something he wanted and ordered them to give him it. The Rangers didn't understand what Valko was talking about and the villain explained that it's the Series One Processor Hyper Intelligent Encryptor. Valko threatened the S.P.D. Rangers, requiring to surrender the technology he needed, otherwise he would destroy the Delta Base. The Rangers refused to give Valko what he wants and Valko threatened them. The Rangers morphed, and battled the Krybots.

Valko fought Z, Syd, and Sky and was winning. Then he noticed S.O.P.H.I.E. and realized that he needed her. He fired at her when she tried to escape. Bridge battled Valko and nearly defeated him. Jack ordered Bridge to take the cadets away and they would take care of Valko. Bridge led the cadets away and Valko was furious, as he led S.O.P.H.I.E. away, and Valko needed her.

The four Rangers left to fight the villain. However, Valko easily defeated the Rangers. Then Valko summoned his giant robot, who was piloted by a Blue-Head Krybot, and ordered him to attack the Delta Base. Valko was happy, as Broodwing finally sent his robot to aid him. The robot fired at the base, causing it to tremble. The Rangers contacted Kat and told her to call Delta Runners, but the doors were blocked, so they couldn't come.

So Cruger told Kat to activate the new Defense System of Delta Base, which wasn't finished yet. Kat activated the defense system of the base and Rangers managed to defeat the Gladiator Robot, but Goradon showed up and easily defeated the Rangers. After the Gladiator Robot was defeated, Valko watched Goradon and was amazed as he was so powerful. Valko then left.

However, when S.O.P.H.I.E. went on the streets, Valko attacked her. Valko happily declared that he sought for her. Valko attacked S.O.P.H.I.E. and tried to catch her and force her to work for him and control Goradon. S.O.P.H.I.E fought Valko, but then she tried to escape from him. Valko pursued her and came to Piggy. Valko threatened Piggy and Piggy gave Valko Sophie.

Valko brought S.O.P.H.I.E to the big black warehouse and plugged her to many connectors. Valko activated his machine, which was connected to S.O.P.H.I.E., and started the activation of Goradon.

Thanks to Piggy, the Rangers found Valko's hideout. Valko attacked the heroes in the forest and summoned Krybots. The Rangers battled the Krybots. After defeating the Krybots, the Rangers morphed and battled Valko and they defeated him. Then the Rangers then tried to arrest the villain after he was judged and found guilty, but he escaped and returned to his lair, summoning Goradon.

Goradon attacked the city and Kat sent the Zords to the Rangers. The heroes tried to battle Goradon, but the monster was too powerful so S.O.P.H.I.E. tried to resist and free herself. S.O.P.H.I.E. freed herself and went to aid her friends as Goradon nearly defeated the Delta Squad Megazord and the Rangers left without a sword.

Valko Card

Valko attacked S.O.P.H.I.E. but she called Commander Cruger and he arrived to save her. Doggie morphed and battled the villain. Finally, Cruger defeated Valko and captured him in a data card.

The Rangers later managed to defeat Goradon by using the Delta Command Megazord with the help of Sophie. Tvicon TV STORY-Wired

General Valko is a determined, intelligent, and arrogant individual. Valko was a brutal, destructive, and ruthless warrior and was ready to kill and destroy for achieving his goals. He was shown as arrogant, headstrong and confident and won't stop to destroy the Power Rangers and Delta Base. He was shown as a cunning, intelligent, and devious strategist as he captured S.O.P.H.I.E. and used her to control Goradon. However, his arrogance was his weakness as he was finally defeated and captured by Cruger. Valko is also shown to be loyal to Gruumm and Mora and wanted to prove his loyalty and become Gruumm's general. Notes[]

  • Valko was the last monster to be recruited by Mora before Gruumm transformed her into Morgana.
  • In Dekaranger, Valko is sent flying through the air by a punch to the chest from Bridge and not a regular kick after a scene of Bridge’s counterpart walking dramatically through explosions.
    • This was cut out due to both the very visible counterparts to SOPHIE and the Power Rangers as well as Valko’s counterpart shooting Bridge repeatedly in the head, upper chest and shoulders.
  • In Dekaranger, Valko killed himself with a bomb before the Canine Cannon could finish him but this was then revealed to have been a hologram.
    • This was changed to the device he pulls out teleporting him away presumably because, in Dekaranger, there was a plothole where he had no time to make one and escape since the Dekarangers were fighting or facing him the whole time.
