"I am Fireor, ready to serve the Queen."
―Fireor's first words upon being created by Jinxer.[src]

"Whoa!"
―Fireor's last words before his demise.[src]

Fireor was a gargoyle-themed fire samurai demon who served as the main antagonist of the episode "A Matter of Trust" and a very minor antagonist of the episode "Sorcerer of the Sands."

History[]

Baby Impus creates his very first demon card, a samurai-like monster named Fireor which Jinxer summons. Afterwards, Loki attacks Fireor for being weak but is defeated by the monster. Impressed by his power, Diabolico sends him to steal the fuel cell.

Upon his arrival, he fights four of the Lightspeed Rangers (Dana being absent to help a friend of her father who secretly has the Power Cell) with an army of Batlings to aid him in battle. Carter fights Fireor but is quickly outmatched and the monster manages to steal the case, but finds that it is empty. He deduces that the power cell is with Dana so he creates a circle of fire above the city that draws upon the sun's power to roast the citizens of Mariner Bay.

The circle starts to shoot fireballs at the city so the Rangers have to help people whilst Fireor retreats. The Rangers eventually relocate him on top of a tower and he sends an army of Batlings to battle them. The Batlings were soon destroyed and the Rangers take the battle with Fireor onto the ground but are quickly outmatched. Before he can finish them however, Dana comes to the rescue so he escapes into an old building with the Lightspeed Rangers in pursuit. The Rangers gain the upper hand until Fireor uses the Power of the Sun on them, seemingly knocking them out only for it to turn out to be a trick by the Rangers who hold him down long enough for his own fireball to obliterate him.

Fireor is enlarged by Jinxer with the chant, "It's not that easy to put out this fire. Flames reunite. This time, burn even higher!". The Rangers then summon the Lightspeed Megazord to battle him. The demon has the upper hand until the Megazord uses the Ladder Arms to grab and throw him down. Fireor is then destroyed by the Lightspeed Megazord Saber. Tvicon TV STORY-A Matter of Trust

Fireor is among the deceased Demons seen in the Shadow World and is used by Prince Olympius and the Gatekeeper who try to destroy the Power Rangers with him. However, after the Thermo Blasters destroy the Gatekeeper's staff, they lose control of the monsters and Fireror escapes the Shadow World alongside Liztwin's upgraded form and the Furnace Monster at the same time as the Rangers and appear as giants.

The Rangers immediately summon the Supertrain Megazord to dispose of them but their fire blasts overwhelm it and Fireor is able to impale it once the Furnace Monster and Liztwin restrain it. The tables turn however when Liztwin and the Furnace Monster advance on the Supertrain head-on, allowing the Megazord to destroy them with the Turbine Super Charge but Fireor remains. Low on power, they form the Lightspeed Solarzord which Fireor blasts with his fire breath but the Megazord absorbs it and uses it in its finisher to finish him off. Rather than exploding in the traditional way, Fireor writhes in pain as his body soon disintegrates into flaming particles. Tvicon TV STORY-Sorcerer of the Sands

Personality[]

Fireor's personality was similar to that of a samurai as he was very loyal to Queen Bansheera and did anything in his power to destroy the Rangers. He was a highly brutal, aggressive, wrathful, and ruthless demon who proved to be highly destructive and wanted to destroy the Power Rangers at any cost. He also wanted to destroy the city after failing to get the cell.

After coming back from the Shadow World, Fireor lost all trace of intelligence and became a completely mindless force of destruction who spoke only in roars and laughs. Even so, he proved to be an excellent team player as he and the other escaped spirits easily overwhelmed the Supertrain Megazord without arguing.

Powers and Abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Batling Summoning: Like most Demons, Fireor could summon an army of Batlings to aid him in battle.
  • Teleportation: Fireor could teleport to any location at will.
    • Dimensional Teleportation: Fireor was able to teleport to Earth through the Shadow World portal in a streak of purple fire.
  • Flame Vision: Fireor could fire red beams of fire from his eyes. A single blast was powerful enough to knock Loki and later all five Rangers down with a single blast.
  • Invisible Force: Fireor could fire an invisible energy force from his hands.
  • Power of the Sun: Fireor's strongest attack where he could shoot a burst of fire into the sky to create a ring of fire to appear around the city and cause a massive heat wave.
    • Fireball Rain: After a while, Fireor's ring of fire turned into a sun-like dome that shot fireballs in rapid succession which caused large explosions on impact.
  • Sword Summoning: Fireor was able to summon his sword over his right arm to fight the Rangers.
  • Shadow World Abilities: After returning from the Shadow World, Fireor gained several abilities that he was not shown to possess before:
    • Self Growth: Fireor was able to grow into a giant at will without Jinxer's help upon returning to Earth.
    • Purple Flame Breath: Fireor could exhale purple fire from his mouth upon returning to Earth. This was strong enough that, when absorbed, the Lightspeed Solarzord gained the power it needed to finish him off.

Abilities[]

  • Strength: Fireor was powerful enough to best all five Lightspeed Rangers in battle and, during his second battle, impaled the Supertrain Megazord with a single stab.
