Fire! The Golden Arrow is the thirteenth episode of Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger.

Synopsis

Bandora places Mei under a sleep spell when she becomes crucial for eliminating a Dora Monster that can keep the witch young.

Plot

While playing with children, a disguised Tottpatt gave Mei a poisonous apple, under the pretense of 'giving apples only for beautiful girls'. In the meantime, the monster Dora Ladoon began his rampage, shooting his arrows that made apples grow on children's heads and rapidly aged them so Bandora can receive a potion of youth. When the Zyurangers fought against Dora Ladoon, the poison started to take effect on Mei and she fell into a deep sleep. The rest of the Zyurangers were later forced to fight against Dora Ladoon, but their attacks were useless since his only weak point is the Risha Tribe's sacred arrow, and proceeded to weaken the Zyurangers with energy-draining snakes. In the meantime, Mei received a strange dream where she's constantly attacked by a mysterious force and nearly fell to a cliff of fire. She was saved by several small creatures, which immediately fell to the fire and in turn she started hearing the screams of help from her friends. With determination to save them, Mei leapt willingly to the cliff of fire, waking her up and confronted Dora Ladoon, eventually weakening him enough to be destroyed by Howling Cannon. After the battle, the children returned to normal and the Zyurangers were offered with apples, which slightly made Mei a little off since she fell for a poisonous apple trick, but Geki reminded them that it's not. The episode ended as Dan jokingly put two apples on his chest, in which Mei got irritated that he made jokes about her breasts and started chasing him.
