Vulcan Brace (バルカンブレス Barukan Buresu) - Sun Vulcan's transformation device. The transformation call is "Sun Vulcan!" (or, for individual members, their codename).
The Vulcan Braces have small removable symbols based on a Ranger's respective animal. This is used as a key to activate the device that initially leads the trio to Sun Vulcan's headquarters.

The Vulcan Brace is both a communicator and the storage unit for the Vulcan Suit, as well as has a special glowing alert in case of emergency. If a Vulcan Suit is destroyed, the brace can still be used as a communicator; but a new Vulcan Brace must still be issued for replacement due to coordination of a Vulcan Suit with the brace it is stored in. At the climax of the Legend War, the Vulcan Braces were made redundant when Sun Vulcan sacrificed their powers with the rest of the first 34 Super Sentai to destroy the invasion force of the Space Empire Zangyack. Resurfacing as Ranger Keys, the Sun Vulcan powers would be used by the Gokaigers to assume their forms via the Gokai Change. Ultimately, the Gokaigers returned their borrowed powers to their rightful owners after overthrowing Zangyack.

- The Vulcan Brace marks the first brace Changer in Super Sentai, which would be the standard for the remainder of the Showa era and a category which recurringly appears to this day even as the transformation devices have become more diverse.
