It introduces the two "reckless vehicles" the Carrangers will use for the remainder of the series, Pegasus Thunder and Dragon Cruiser. It is also the 1000th episode of Super Sentai overall.

Synopsis[]

Kyosuke becomes more obsessed with his test-driving dreams after being embarrassed by Naoki's skills just as two Wild Cars from space arrive on Earth that test the limits and wills of both of them.

Plot[]

Natsumi shocks the Pegasus Garage workers by revealing that Kyosuke was riding around in a kid's go-kart in the park, which Naoki confirms. Youko is surprised hearing this since Kyosuke earlier stated he was off to do "test driving training" and went off to do it; but Naoki states that this go-karting may have been it as he saw him do it personally wondering why he's skipping work, which Kyosuke states is important for his test driving training. Naoki states he did doubt Kyosuke's skill as a test driver, stating he also saw him in an arcade where he defeated him in a race video game where he defeated him 13 times in a row! Youko states they never saw Kyosuke ever successfully drive a car while Minoru adds that at the recent Tanabata festival, he put up a wish to be a great test driver; Natsumi shows the Tanabata branch as Naoki complains that if Kyosuke has to pray to be a good test driver, he shouldn't be Pegasus' test driver which the others agree with. As Kyosuke returns, everyone stares him down and confront him with the Tanabata branch.

On the Baribarian, Ritchihiker heads into a bathroom to read and relax while sitting on a toilet; he reads within a book on "Legends of the Milky Way" a legend about two "wild cars" sealed in an asteroid. In the legend, there were two wild cars that never opened their hearts to anyone, not liking any aliens driving within them; one with the elegance of a Pegasus and the other a ferocity of a Dragon. Someone complained about the cars one day: those being Orihime and Kengyuu who complain when the cars interrupt their annual meeting on Tanabata to God and asking what he can do and the being sealing them in an asteroid. Ritchihiker hears knocking on the bathroom door revealed to by Gynamo desperately wanting to go before he's hit by a door as Ritchihiker leaves it; Gyanmo wonders what the instructor was doing in his private bathroom which he states was researching ways to defeat the Carranger in this book and believing these two cars could be the perfect weapons to accomplish it. Gynamo screams at him to do it as he tries to go into his bathroom, but Ritchihiker asks him who to use to get to the cars; the president states he can't hold it in and yells as he shuts the door to use "WW Waritcho".

Within moments, WW Waritcho, Bowzock's best miner, flies into the Milky Way to find the asteroid with the two cars, searching around and failing to find it in any discouraging him. He decides to rest on an asteroid as he takes a seat, breaking a seal set up by "God" making him realize he may have found it as the ground shakes, forcing an emergency lift off as the asteroid breaks and two lights emerge, being the vehicles of the Pegasus and the Dragon which immediately fly towards Earth!

On Earth, Naoki yells at Kyosuke to throw away the Tanabata tree as punishment for skipping out on his job and wondering why he has to come with; Kyosuke states it's fine, wondering who would train as a test driver riding a tricycle in a park. Naoki points at him making Kyosuke stating it was an excuse and to not take it so seriously; but Naoki brings up the video game and the Tanabata wish, only for Kyosuke to tell him he'd be shocked by how well he actually drives. As he meanders on, Naoki notices the lights flying towards Earth as they explode with WW Waritcho pursuing catching up to the two cars. As he compliments the cars, Zelmoda appears asking what he's waiting for and orders two Wumpers to take the cars for them. But as the Wumpers enter, the cars start defying, slamming their doors and riding off trying to run them over! Kyosuke and Naoki also head to check as the cars pursue them, forcing them to run as they realize no one was in them! Naoki trips as the cars keep heading towards the duo as they scream for their lives until they suddenly stop, making them faint. The red "Pegasus" honks as Naoki notice the two have no drivers; Kyosuke states they're amazing but Naoki wonders if they should test them out to see how well they work. But the Red car immediately runs over Kyosuke's foot, causing him to scream as Naoki states it wasn't a good idea.

Zelmoda and WW Waritcho appear, the Gorotsuki stating there's no way ordinary citizens of "Earsh" can drive these cars, shocking them as Zelmoda states the wild cars won't listen to anyone except them. Naoki doubts the two of them would be able to, but WW Waritcho states once the two are taken apart and their personalities are changed, they'll be able to, making Kyosuke take offense that the two have no love of cars and he won't let them touch them, wild or not! Zelmoda tells off Kyosuke for having a big mouth for an "ordinary citizen" as WW Waritcho throws a net out trapping Naoki and the Blue vehicle as they're dragged into a bag; Kyosuke attacks him for the assault but is thrown down as it tries to attack the Red car, which fires a laser towards them forcing the Gorotsuki and Zelmoda to escape. The red car tries to pursue but Kyosuke stops it, asking if it wants to pursue the other wild car and that he wants to come with to save Naoki. The car opens a door after backing up and slams Kyosuke, knocking him to the ground before shutting itself. Kyosuke stares off with the car, stating he's a test driver and he will get in and save Naoki!

Putting on his test driver uniform and a helmet, Kyosuke enters the red car and the two start to drive, Kyosuke being tossed about and thrown out. He keeps trying to stay into the red car as it drives around with Kyosuke angered, the car bucking about as it drives towards a dead end, Kyosuke tries to brake but it fails to listen; raging Kyosuke to the point that he tells the car to not underestimate a test driver as he instead does a full acceleration, activating boosters on the vehicle as it suddenly starts flying in the air and enters into a flight mode! The car continues to fly shocking Kyosuke as it buckles him in and he realizes it's letting him drive it as the two head off to rescue their partners. Kyosuke transforms into Red Racer as a Carranger symbol appears on the red car and Kyosuke informs the others of the Bowzock attack. On the ground, Signalman stands bored at his Kobaan Base as he sees the flying car, yelling at it for flying without permission but stating the skies of Earsh aren't his jurisdiction.

In a warehouse, Naoki is being held down as WW Waritcho instructs the Wumpers to help take the blue car apart. Naoki steps on the Wumpers' feet and stands in front of the car stating that if they take it apart, they may as well take him apart first, which Zelmoda obliges to as he fights until he gets his chains broken by a Wumper chainsaw allowing for him to finally fight back. The blue car suddenly honks it's horn, deafening the Bowzock as it starts crying acknowledging Naoki's emotions. Without warning, the red car flies in as the blue one sends out a grapple to attach on and allowing Naoki inside as they break their chains and escape from captivity! Naoki is soon buckled in as the blue vehicle lands on the ground and the red one soon joining it. Kyosuke states he and the red car are now in synch as Naoki states he was able to become friends with his as well as it too gains the symbols of the Carranger, allowing for them to show their success.

The other Carranger arrive without seeing Kyosuke or Naoki, but find Zelmoda and WW Waritcho, shocking the Bowzock as the two cars soon drive by and join in the battle with Red and Blue Racer, shocking the Carranger and Bowzock for taming them. Zelmoda orders them to take the cars apart as squads of Wumpers in cars attack them as they withstand attack; Naoki uses the Bashing Flash to blind one car of Wumpers into crashing while Kyosuke takes a hit before backing up in the red car and passing them backwards and firing the Pegasus Laser to force the other Wumpers to crash. Natsumi and Youko compliment Kyosuke's driving as Minoru complains this isn't what they claimed prior; WW Waritcho flies out to deal with it firing a beam at the cars to slow them down, forcing Kyosuke and the red car into sky mode while Naoki fires the "Dragon Claw" to grapple the Gorotsuki giving Kyosuke the chance to use "Pegasus Final Burning to pummel WW Waritcho to death, forcing Zelmoda to give up on the cars and retreat.

As Kyosuke and Naoki return tot heir teammates in celebration, Red Racer states he's in sync with his car which he now calls "Pegasus Thunder"; while Naoki states he's friends with his car that he now calls Dragon Cruiser. The Carranger drive off with their new allies as Kyosuke finally burns the Tanabata branch that night, the cars honking in acknowledgement as they realize his wish came true and they decide to ride off in their new cars.
