The Gurumess (ザ・グルメス Za Gurumesu) is a pumpkin Beast Warrior creation of the Reconstructive Experiment Empire Mess. He serves as the primary antagonist of the Ep. 26: Space Pumpkin Cooking.
History[]
A chef pumpkin Beast Warrior with appendages similar to kitchen utensils. It was the head chef at a restaurant scheme created by Mess where it would create "space pumpkins" from within itself, which are harvested and used to sell to customers in various meals. While the pumpkins themselves were tasty and enhance the flavor of anything eaten afterwards, they have the side-effect of turning peoples heads into pumpkins. Lou blunders into the scheme while in search of other food to eat outside space pills brought with on Round Base but was prevented from eating the space pumpkins initially due to a curious mother trying to search for the secret of the restaurant's flavors.
While ultimately discovering Mess's involvement and the shocking secret of The Gurumess, the duo also discovered that by using simple miso soup created by the mother for her children's dinner, they were able to reverse the power of the space pumpkin affliction. When in combat, The Gurumess easily dominated the team. He throws pepper at the five Flashmen, and then rolls up Pink Flash like an onigiri, and finally taking down the four remaining members by throwing eggs at them. Being helpless, Pink Flash uses Prism beam to push away the Gurumess and quickly free herself. Using the spicy on the men of Mess, causes them to sneeze and poured it over it and Sir Cowler, causing an opening through sneezes for a Rolling Vulcan attack to destroy the pumpkin beast. After Kuragen grows and enlarges The Gurumess, the team dealt with the Beast Warrior by using Titan Boy and Great Titan Robos.
Personality[]
Gurumess acts like a typical chef and acted friendly and responsible for his mission, tasked him by the Mess Empire. He can't talk, only speaking in roars and growls, but at the same time, he was one of the later monsters in the season and used a cunning plan of actions, while also being a proficient fighter. However, despite being a villain, he was also shown as highly comedic and was largely played for laughs due to his funny appearance and behavior. Gurumess was also highly intelligent and his plan was rather complicated for the defeat over the Flashman.

- Pumpkin Transformation: He could turn human heads into pumpkins by having the people eat his dishes.
- Energy Blasts: Gurumess could also fire energy blasts at his enemies during the battle.

- Physical Strength: He was one of the later monsters in the series and for this reason he was more powerful than his predecessors, being able to easily best the Flashmen in their first encounter.
- Fighting Skills: Gurumess was also a proficient fighter, being able to fight evenly with Flashman and initially easily defeat them in hand-to-hand struggle.

- His own spice: Despite being a master of kitchen weapons, Gurumess was himself vulnerable to his spice and was quickly beaten by it.
