DC Comics, formerly National Comics Publications, is an American comic book company owned by WarnerMedia. It is a subsidiary of DC Entertainment, a rival entertainment production studio to Marvel Studios, and one of the oldest comic book publishers in America established in 1934. The company is the creator and home to globally beloved superhero characters such as Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash, and Aquaman as well as it's famous superhero groups such as the Justice League and the Teen Titans.
In 2016, at the New York Comic-Con, DC announced a team-up collaboration with Boom! Studios to do a 2017 six-issue Justice League/Power Rangers crossover mini-series with permission and approval from Saban Brands CEO Janet Hsu.[1]
