Grifforzer originated from Earth, and was a monster who co-existed with dinosaurs and ancient mankind.	Goldar is an alien from outer space. In supplemental material, his birthplace was listed as Titan, Saturn's largest moon.
Grifforzer is married to Lami.	Goldar isn't married to Scorpina, though he dated her in a canceled episode.
Grifforzer was unable to talk at first, only communicating through grunting and growling, but Bandora gave him a voice later on. After that, he spoke in a very formal voice and tone.	Goldar was able to talk from the beginning of the series. He always spoke with a gruff and slow voice.
Grifforzer had retractable wings that were invisible when not in use.	Goldar's wings were apparently taken from him, but restored by Lord Zedd during his first appearance. After that, the wings were permanently seen on his back, except when he had amnesia.
Grifforzer never held any personal rivalry or grudge against one of the Zyurangers in particular.	Goldar held a personal rivalry against Jason during Season 1, the first half of Season 2, and Beast Morphers. Later on he held a massive personal grudge against Tommy for defeating him time and time again as the Green and White Ranger.
Grifforzer only appeared in Zyuranger. Never encountered any Rangers from other teams; though a clone made from his essence was created to face the Kyoryugers and the Go-Busters.	Goldar appeared in multiple seasons of Power Rangers and has encountered and fought Rangers from multiple teams such as The Mighty Morphin, Alien Rangers, Zeo Rangers, and Space Rangers. Later being revived to battle against the Beast Morphers, Dino Thunder and Dino Charge Rangers in a new form.
Grifforzer was always loyal to Witch Bandora; never had any connection to any other villain, including the Gorma Tribe.	Goldar was loyal to Rita Repulsa, but later betrayed her in favor for Lord Zedd.
Grifforzer survived, but was re-sealed after the death of Dai-Satan.	Presumably killed by the death of Zordon by Andros.
Grifforzer never encountered Gashadokuro at all.	Goldar became inseparable partners with Rito Revolto.
Grifforzer did not pilot Dora Talos.	Goldar piloted Cyclopsus.
Grifforzer did not encounter nor pilot Daijinryuu, as it was a living being as opposed to a piloted mecha.	Goldar was one of two villains who piloted Serpentera on a regular basis, the other being Lord Zedd.
Grifforzer did not appear in any extra seasons.	Goldar appeared in Power Rangers HyperForce.
