Don't Lick Me, Face Thief (ナメんな顔泥棒 Name'nna Kao Dorobō) is the thirty-second episode of Ninja Sentai Kakuranger.
Synopsis[]
When a face-stealing Yokai is on the attack, Saizou must protect a girl who wants to have her face taken so she can get one like a manga character.
Plot[]
At the Yokai Mansion, Daimaou summons a Yokai named Nuppefuhofu to begin building the Yokai Kingdom by placing humans into ultimate terror. Meanwhile, on a hot summer day, a suspicious man laughs on a beachside at a couple, who later become attacked that night by the Yokai Nuppefuhofu by crashing their bike before licking their faces away, shocking them. The Yokai attacks faces throughout the night before explaining that if he likes your face, he'll lick it off to make people indistinguishable and cause chaos with no one knowing what anyone else is doing!
Inside Nekomaru, the Kakuranger are reading headlines of Nuppefuhofu's attacks, with Tsuruhime stating that defeated the Yokai, they'll stop the problem. Sasuke wonders what Nuppefuhofu is doing with the faces, as Saizou contemplates he just likes collecting and looking at them. The van passes by the strange suspicious man from the beach, who comes home to a room filled with faces in picture frames talking about how they're all his before he licks an ice pop turning into his true form as Nuppefuhofu.
That night, the Kakuranger head out to investigate with Saizou yawning believing they won't find him before Tsuruhime silences him. Sasuke hears something and throws out shuriken but reveals it as a girl hiding in the bushes; the ninja explains to the girl, Haruka, that she shouldn't be walking around at night like this with a Yokai about. But Haruka states she wants to meet Nuppefuhofu and have her face licked off so she can have a new face like a princess in a manga! The Kakuranger are shocked by the comment as she admits she can live like a princess with a pretty face, but Tsuruhime states that's probably not possible as Sasuke convinces Saizou to take her home due to his desire to go home as well. NinjaBlue tries to drag Haruka home but the girl continues to state she wants to meet the Yokai, biting Saizou's wrist and running away! As the Kakuranger chases her, Nuppefuhofu appears before Saizou and attacks him with it's tongue; when Saizou states who he is, Haruka realizes and turns around while the ninja keeps trying to attack it, failing to hit it and his shuriken deflecting until the girl stops his attacks! At that opening, Nuppefuhofu licks at both of them, but the other Kakuranger soon arrive and sends out a burp attack that knocks them back until Sasuke chases it away with the Red Slicer. Sasuke checks on Haruka, but her face has been removed, as has Saizou to everyone's shocked! Saizou fears what happened, while Haruka becomes excited she lost her face as NinjaBlue faints.
The next day, Haruka cavorts through town with an adorable painted on face like a princess, looking at the flowers and smelling them; while back in Nekomaru, Saizou despairs about his handsome face being gone and states he can't live without it and states he's as good as dead. Haruka visits asking if he likes her face and offers to have Saizou have a new face drawn onto his, but thinking of having a "manga face" and being Haruka's face makes him fall further into despair. At the same time, Nuppefuhofu adds their faces to his collection, framing them for himself.
As the day wears on with the heat, Seikai complains as Sasuke makes him run in the midst of it while the team searches for Nuppefuhofu. Seikai sees the Yokai's human form selling ice pops, making him rush to buy one as he devours two at the same time as Sasuke eats one. The man offers to add their faces to his collection and changes to his Yokai form, yet at that moment Sasuke notices a rain storm starting, which hits both of them while Nuppefuhofu trips on a branch missing them in his attack! Haruka, on the other hand, notices that the paint from her face is melting off, making her saddened as everyone notices how weird her face is, making her realize that she can't have a face like a manga character.
As she sits by a river dropping flowers in, Tsuruhime brings in Saizou to speak to Haruka; she cries to NinjaBlue as she realizes her folly and blaming herself for Saizou losing his face too, making him comfort the girl as the rain stops. Seikai and Sasuke confirm Nuppefuhofu on the move to Tsuruhime and Jiraiya while Saizou promises he'll lure the Yokai out and get their faces back.
Returning to the beach, Jiraiya goes to the ice seller as he states he doesn't take payment in money but in faces as he transforms, licking off NinjaBlack's face! However, Jiraiya leaps over him making him fall as he becomes shocks by there being two Jiraiya, making his stomach burp out a fake face, revealing that the Jiraiya he licked was Saizou using the "Face Transplant" jutsu, trapping him as he tells him to return all the faces. The Kakuranger transform to face Nuppefuhofu as he summons Dorodoro, the minions and Rangers fighting with their various styles. NinjaBlue takes on Nuppefuhofu,continuing to have problems with his durable body and burp attacks until he uses his Blue Shot to dowse him with water and then using the Square Cut to defeat him. Soon using the Yoki Cloud to grow, the Kakuranger summon Kakure Daishogun and Tsubasamaru to make quick work with Super Kakure Daishogun, kicking it and then using Iron Fist Flying Finish to defeat the Yokai, yelling for his collection as he is defeated as the faces return to their original bodies.
Saizou embraces his true face as Haruka rushes out towards him happy to have her own face back. Saizou states that her face is the best for her which she also admits to as the Kakuranger rush onto the beach happily. Saizou ends stating everyone has different faces and true beauty lies within.

- This episode was supposed to be the twenty-third episode of Kakuranger and was advertised as such in Monthly Newtype magazine prior to airing. However, due to the staff's decision to broadcast the arc that preceded this one, it was held back with certain elements refilmed (such as Nuppefuhofu fighting Super Kakure Daishogun instead of Muteki Shogun). Stills of the previous iteration, including Nuppefuhofu fighting Muteki Shogun (which was published in Televi-kun), still exist.
