This article is about a/an monster in Power Rangers S.P.D. |
The Dragoul is a ground-burrowing dragon-like monster who is sent by Broodwing to battle the Power Rangers, he serves as the major antagonist of the S.P.D. and Dino Thunder crossover episode "History", and later on as the main antagonist of the episode "Impact".
History[]
The Dragoul was sent out to battle against S.P.D. Rangers. It was able to hold its own against the Rangers and eventually escaped. The Dragoul then grew and proceeded to wreck havoc on the city, but was stopped by Sam while piloting the Omegamax Megazord. The Dragoul was too powerful and was easily able to overpower the Megazord, but the other Rangers arrived just in time with the Delta Squad Megazord to save Sam. They then formed the Delta Max Megazord to battle and destroy the Dragoul.
The second Dragoul appeared in the city, and the Rangers once again form the Delta Max Megazord to battle this new Dragoul, but it was easily able to overpower the Megazord with ease, even the Hyper Speed Mode had no effect After defeating the Delta Max Megazord, the Dragoul burrows underground to escape. It later reapppeared to battle the Delta Squad Megazord and Omega Megazord, but no matter how many times they hit the Monster, it grows to an astronomical size. With no choice left, Commander Cruger then transforms the Delta Base into the Delta Command Megazord to do help the other Rangers, but even it was no match for the Dragoul's power. Sky arrives in the Blue SWAT Zord and rapidly fires on the Dragoul, which seems to affect it. But even after being blasted by the Delta Command Megazord's Full Power, the Dragoul is still standing and strikes the Megazords. Jack then comes in with the rest of the SWAT Zords and forms the S.W.A.T Flyer Cannon, which is fired by the Other Megazords, destroying the Monster for good.

Behind the Scenes[]
Portrayal[]
- Dragoul is voiced by Patrick Wilson.
Design[]
- Dragoul appears to be based off of a dragon.
Etymology[]
- Dragoul's name is a play on the words "Dragon" and "Goul".
Notes[]
- The second Dragoul is without a doubt the most powerful monster in Power Rangers S.P.D.. He is able to survive every single Megazord finisher and super move that is thrown at him and it took all three Megazords (wielding the S.W.A.T. Megazord in Cannon Mode) to finally end it.
- While Delex was the final monster (which Final Monster-Of-The-Week is often the most powerful orone of the most powerful monsters of their season) and had just as much strength and firepower, he was easily taken down by the S.W.A.T. Megazord.
