Makuu Prison Warden Ashurada (魔空監獄獄長アシュラーダ, Makū Kangoku Gokuchō Ashurāda) is the primary antagonist of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs. Space Sheriff Gavan: The Movie.

History

The chief of the Zangyack's prison in Makuu Space who has inherited the blood of Don Horror. He has six arms and the ability to produce Makuu Space and the Makuu City. He disguised himself as Chief of Space Police Weeval (宇宙警察総裁ウィーバル, Uchū Keisatsu Sōsai Wībaru) to spy on the Space Police. He captured Gavan and held him captive whilst sending the Sneak Brothers and King Mons Drake to keep them preoccupied. However, when Ahim used a Skick Tornado to hold off Mons Drake, Captain Marvelous rescued him. When he and the superintendent were clear, Joe Gibken and Don destroyed the prison with the GokaiGalleon Buster's Rising Strike with the blast tearing upwards through the ground and taking out the Sneak Brothers and Mons Drake as well. Although seemingly killed when the prison imploded, he managed to survive and confront the Gokaigers and Gavan with his entire army of Gormin and Sugormin. Whilst Gavan destroyed Don Horror with his Gavan Dynamic, Asurada used his tentacles on the Gokaigers. However, was defeated by thier Gokai Changes before being destroyed by thier Gokai Saber Final Wave combined with an energy slash from Gai's Gokai Spear.

• Ashurada is voiced by Shiro Sano (佐野 史郎, Sano Shirō), who also portrays Weeval.
• He was designed by Tamotsu Shinohara.
• He is named after Asura.
• His motif is a giant clam.
• His appearance is also based on Don Horror and Hunter Killer from Uchuu Keiji Gavan.

Notes

• He has no Power Rangers counterpart, due to coming from a non-adapted Space Sheriff movie.
