Bruce Robert Allpress (August 25, 1930 - April 23, 2020) was a New Zealand actor who portrayed Master Phant and the Elephant Ranger in Power Rangers Jungle Fury.
Allpress passed away at the age of 89 on April 23, 2020, as a result of complications from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).[1]
Biography[]
In his career, Alpress has starred in many television dramas and presented on TV and radio. In the mid-1980s, he was a regular on The Billy T. James Show, as well as featuring alongside Tommy Lee Jones in the pirate adventure film Nate and Hayes. His most known role is Aldor, soldier of Rohan in the movie The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Domestically, Allpress appears regularly in television commercials, usually playing an older role.
