When Peggy discovers a town being brainwashed as part of a Black Cross plot, she goes undercover in order to root the perpetrators out.

- Tsutomu Sekine appears in this episode as a truck driver in an early acting role; he would return 38 years later as the Conductor in Ressha Sentai ToQger who would become a Ranger himself, transforming into the eponymous hero of Ressha Sentai ToQger Returns: Super ToQ 7gou of Dreams.
- When Peggy reveals who she is to Bird Comb Mask, she does so in a similar fashion to the Go Nagai heroine Cutey Honey, revealing all her disguises she took to the enemy before showing her true identity.
- Footage of Peggy's disguises in this episode would appear as part of a montage of Sentai heroines in Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai, when Miku (MegaPink) revealed to Sae (GaoWhite) the ability of female heroes to Quick-Change.
