Synopsis
New VulEagle Takayuki Hiba heads to Lake Hamana to investigate strange sightings in the water, only to find himself falling into a Black Magma trap.

Notes
- Opening: Several changes occur to the opening from this episode:
- The footage at the start shows the opening up of Vulcan Base and later Jaguar Vulcan launching from the new headquarters
- The VulEagle footage uses new footage for new member Takayuki Hiba
- Despite the changes, the opening shot of the untransformed trio running with explosions behind them and leaping and flipping at the start remains Ryuusuke Oowashi, the former VulEagle, instead of Hiba; as does the shot of Commander Arashiyama remain at the old Sun Vulcan headquarters instead of the new one
- Although not directly part of the legend spoken by Arashiyama about the treasure in Laka Hamana, he does mention the Sanada Ten Braves, a group of warriors that assisted and protected the Hideyoshi clan; both Sasuke Sarutobi and Saizou Kirigakure are mentioned by name as being part of this group. (Seikai Miyoshi is also part but isn't mentioned)
