Fighting Traffic Safety (戦う交通安全 Tatakau Kōtsū Anzen) is the first episode of Gekisou Sentai Carranger.
Summary
After witnessing the destruction of his home, Hazardian Dapp must find (and somehow convince) five humans of the Pegasus Garage who possess the connection with legendary car constellations to become the Carranger and save their planet from the destructive force of the evil planet-destroying Bowzock.
Plot
The planet Hazard is destroyed by the gang of alien troublemakers called Bowzock. They decide to set out and destroy the planet Earth next, but a survivor from Hazard hears their plan and travels to Earth to set up defenses. He arrives at the Pegasus Garage and meets the five goofy workers.
Aware that Bowzock is right behind him, Dappu uses the Carmagic power that radiates from five magical car constellations to give the garage workers the power to henshin into Gekisou Sentai Carranger! They're extremely reluctant to fight aliens, however, and a frustrated Dappu gives up on them and goes to fight Bowzock himself. He's fatally injured by Zelmoda, and his valiant sacrifice inspires the garage workers to henshin for the first time. Right then Dappu springs up and shows he only pretended to die to get this reaction from them. In the meantime, Bowzock has left, causing the embarassed Carrangers to fall down in anime style.
The Carrangers soon catch up to Bowzock and begin beating off its members, causing Gynamo to turn a fire engine into a flying monstrous vehicle, which is shot down by the Carrangers. Bowzock retreats...for the moment.
