Dr. Hinelar (ドクターヒネラー, Dokutā Hinerā), formerly cybernetic scientist Dr. Samejima (鮫島博士, Samejima-hakase), is a leading figure in the Wicked Electric Kingdom Nejirejia.

Plot

He made studies on space exploring suits and lost his beloved daughter in one of this experiments, destroying his reputation and scarring him.

Later during his period at I.N.E.T., he became obsessed in research in connections with other dimensions and worked with Prof. Eikichi Kubota on research. The two worked together on a special "strengthening suit" that would be used for combatting invaders. However, he experienced something that completely made him snap and realize true sadness, leading to him becoming restless against humanity and the Earth.Ep. 38: Scary! Nejiregia's Fiendish Squadron

When he found a strange "twisted dimension" during his research, he obsessively worked on his own personal research in order to reach this world, ignoring Kubota's pleas to work as a team and make sure that they work together to accomplish the goal. Completing an interdimensional transportation device and using it on himself, Samejima traversed into the twisted world known as Nejireiga, where he would become connected to Javious's goals of interdimensional conquest of Earth. The prototype suits he developed would be brought with to eventually create his own squadron, with Kubota forced to start over to create the suits that would eventually be used for his Megaranger.Ep. 8: Will We Lose!? Hinelar later plotted and successfully killed Javious through the Nejirangers, to become the new high leader of the Nejiregians. After the destruction of Javious, the nejire dimension closed making Hinelar build Hinelar City (ヒネラーシティ, Hinerā Shiti) in which he intended to concentrate all mankind as data cards. Soon after Shibolena's demise and the destruciton of his City, Hinelar gained a second 'fighting' form to battle the Megarangers himself. However, the device that kept his body from warping on itself (a side effect from being in Nejiregia) was damaged and retreated into the Grand Nejiros, turning it into Death Nejiro to pilot it. When the Death Nejiro exploded during the Mega Voyager's sacrifice, Hinelar, still inside while trying to will his body from collapsing onto itself, was killed. However, it would later be revealed that Hinelar created Hizumina, a sister unite to Shibolena who attempted to avenge her creator a year after his death.
