"Dino Thunder, Power Up!"
The Dino Morphers are the Morphers for the Red, Blue, and Yellow Dino Thunder Rangers. They can also be used to summon the Dino Zords or communicate with each other and/or Hayley. They were developed by Tommy Oliver and Hayley Ziktor.
The Dino Morphers' faceplates change to match the Dino Zord the Ranger is summoning. For example, if the Dimetro Zord is summoned by the Tyranno Ranger, the Tyranno faceplate vanishes and the Dimetro faceplate appears. When the Rangers are in civilian form, the Zord faceplates vanish completely, leaving only the wristbands and Dino Gems. In this form, they are known as Dino Bracelets. They can still be used as communicators.
The energy of the Dino Gems was exhausted in a final confrontation with Mesogog, rendering them useless, and the Dino Morphers inaccessible. To morph, the Rangers would flip the Dino Plate open and press the morph button, calling "Dino Thunder, Power Up!” When summoning their secondary Zords, the Rangers’ Dino Plates would be replaced by alternate plates modeled on the particular Zord being called.
Notes
- The Dino Morphers are the first Morphers in Power Rangers history that are not identical in design and are designated to more than one Ranger.
- The Dino Morphers are the first Morphers in Power Rangers history that materialize via bracelets. The Zeonizers are not viewed as this, as they were summoned by a Ranger simply rotating their wrist.
- According to the episode "Lost & Found in Translation", the Dino Rangers' Sentai counterparts' morphers can speak. In actuality, the Dino Braces allow their mecha to communicate to the Brace's wearer. In Power Rangers Dino Thunder, these morphers serve as communicators so that each Ranger can stay in touch with each other.
