Crimson High Priest Salamaz (紅蓮神官サラマズ Guren Shinkan Saramazu) was the new priest of the Deboth Army and the secondary antagonist of Ressha Sentai ToQger vs. Kyoryuger: The Movie.
History[]
Crimson High Priest Salamaz was created by Creator Devius to act as his second in command and the successor to Deboth's Hundred-Faced High Priest Chaos. After the ToQgers and Kyoryugers teamed up to defeat Devius, Devius sent Salamaz to get help from the active villain group; the Evil Army Shadow Line. Their leader, Emperor of Darkness Z, admitted Salamaz who begged for their assistance in aid in his master in exchange for destroying the ToQgers. Z initially refused to help as the plan lacks inspiration until Salamaz revealed that the Kyoryugers' weaponry would be useless against the Shadow Line because of their nature. Intrigued, Emperor Z agreed to help and sent Clock Shadow as a test to fight Utsusemimaru. After the Shadow Monster began losing against the Sentai due to the Kyoryugers swapping powers with the ToQgers, the Shadow Line turned on Salamaz only for him to betray them first. In doing so, he ignited the throne room in an attempt to burn them to death before stealing their Kuliners and leaving. Arriving to the battlefield shortly after Clock Shadow's death, he stole the Shadow Monster's darkness to grow giant and assume a massive train-like form piloted by brainwashed Kuros. The two teams formed ToQ-Oh and Kyoryujin but were overpowered by Salamaz until Zyudenryu Zakutor and Zyudenryu Parasagun slashed him away. They then formed ToQ Rainbow and Gigant Kyoryujin and hit him with the combined ToQ Rainbow Final Slash and Gigant Full Blaster but Salamaz survived. Activating Gigant Formation, they combined the Zyudenryus' power with the Ressha to form the Hyper Gigant Imagination which destroyed Salamaz even as he attemptted to flee.
Legacy[]
With Salamaz's death, Clock Shadow's darkness vanished, and the regressed Rangers returned to their proper ages. In spite of Salamaz's death, his efforts allowed Creator Devius to eventually revive but his betrayal of the Shadow Line caused them to aid in his master's death.
