Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman (地球戦隊ファイブマン Chikyū Sentai Faibuman?), individually known as the Fivemen (ファイブマン Faibuman?), is the 14th Super Sentai, composed of five siblings of the Hoshikawa family (three brothers and two sisters), separated from their parents during a sudden Zone attack, sent to board a ship along with Arthur G6 to be raised and learn of the Fiveman technology. They pose as teachers at New Town School, planting a garden of Sidon Flowers which they brought from planet Sidon.

Main article: Ginga Sentai Gingaman

Ginga Sentai Gingaman (銀河戦隊ギンガマン Ginga Sentai Gingaman?, Galaxy Squadron Gingaman) (9, 28-47): A comedic all male evil Squadron of five aliens who first formed by Doldora as part of her plan to hypnotize the masses. But they would later return to serve Chevalier. They were killed by the Fivemen near finale.

Team History

Fiveman

In 1970, Doctor Hoshikawa was researching how to transform the planet Sedon into a green, lush world, and tested his research by attempting to grow flowers. On the day the first flower bloomed, the Zone Empire launched an assault on the planet, he and his wife were separated from their five children. Arthur G6 took the five children back to Earth and raised them. 20 years later, the five are now teachers in the same school. The Zone empire now prepares to invade Earth as its thousandth target and as they begin the attack, three vehicles appear and counter the offensive. Five warriors descend from the vehicles and confront Zone. The Hoshikawa siblings have been developing the Fiveman technology and training hard in case Zone attempts to invade Earth. Now, the five siblings are ready to battle with the familiar foes as Fiveman. After defeating the Zone Empire, the Fivemen departed Earth to recover their stranded parents.

Gokaiger

Years later, the Space Empire Zangyack invaded Earth. This threat was so great that all of the first 34 Super Sentai, including the Fivemen, were needed to oppose them. The 34 Sentai put up a valiant fight against the ground forces, but when the Zangyack fleet itself attacked them, Akarenger told everyone to combine their powers and save the Earth. This destroyed the Zangyack fleet and resulted in the loss of their powers, which resurfaced as Ranger Keys, that were dispersed throughout the universe.

The keys were collected by AkaRed, and later utilized by the 35th Super Sentai, the Gokaigers, a group of five people from different planets who came to Earth in search of the Greatest Treasure in the Universe. Ep. 1: The Space Pirates Appear The greater power of Fiveman was initially taken by Basco ta Jolokia, but was granted to the Gokaigers by Remi after Basco's death. Ep. 49: The Greatest Treasure in the Universe After the Gokaigers finally defeated Zangyack, they returned the Ranger Keys before they left Earth to find the second Greatest Treasure in the Universe. Remi was seen receiving her Ranger Key and the rest of her team presumably got their powers back as well. Final Ep.: Farewell Space Pirates

Dimensional wall - Liveman, Goggle V, Maskman, Jetman, Fiveman

The Fivemen, alongside the Livemen, Goggle V, Maskmen, and Jetmen, emerge through a dimensional wall.

The Fivemen, among the majority of the Super Sentai heroes, were caught up in the "Super Hero Taisen" incident. They were presumably sent to the dimensional riftIcon-crosswiki, under the pretense of being defeated, by Kamen Rider Decade while he was apparently hunting the Sentai teams. When his and Captain Marvelous' ruse was revealed, Fiveman appeared with the other Super Sentai through the dimensional wallIcon-crosswiki, they then fought alongside all the other Sentai teams and Kamen RidersIcon-crosswiki against the alliance of Dai-ShockerIcon-crosswiki and Dai-Zangyack. Ranger Keys

The Chikyu Sentai Fiveman Ranger Keys (地球戦隊ファイブマンレンジャーキー Chikyū Sentai Faibuman Renjā Kī?) are what became of the Fivemen's powers after they along with the rest of the 34 Super Sentai sacrificed their powers to end the Great Legend War.

Any of these keys allow a Gokaiger to assume the form of any of the Fivemen. The Greater Power of this Sentai Group was stolen by Basco, but was later retrieved when Basco was defeated after he infused the Greater Power into the Fiveman Keys. Note: The Gokaigers first use the Fiveman Keys in 199 Hero Great Battle.

  • They are the first Sentai team to announce their civilian names along with their codenames in the rollcall, followed by Zyuranger, Dairanger, Kakuranger and Gingaman.
  • They are the only team after the Maskmen to not to feature a mecha for each individual member.
  • In the Philippine Dub, they have two dubbed versions within the two broadcasting systems in their native language. In the ABC-5 now known as TV5 version, Ken, Kazumi and Remi's name are maintained except for both Gaku and Fumiya which they are renamed as Manabu and Fumio respectively.
  • When Fiveman was dubbed in France (were dubbed only the first 5 episodes), the Hoshikawa siblings are renamed as Eric(Gaku), Dan(Ken), Dom(Fumiya) and Jamie(Remi), is unknown if Kazumi got renamed or retained her original name in the French dub.
