Bulk and Skull in Super Samurai

Bulk and Skull are a comedic duo primarily comprising of two people, Farkas Bulkmeier and Eugene Skullovitch.

History[]

Early Times[]

During the colonial era of Angel Grove in the late 18th Century, Uncle Ben and an unnamed soldier identical to Bulk and Skull became friends after the Power Rangers saved the town from the Wizard of Deception and his Rat Monsters. Tvicon TV STORY-Return of the Green Ranger

A One-Eyed Bulk and Doc Skullovitch lived in the Wild West Angel Grove of the year 1880. Tvicon TV STORY-Wild West Rangers (episode)

MMPR[]

Bulk and Skull first met in the maternity ward at the hospital where they were born. Every time Bulk cried, Skull cried too - and because of the noise they were isolated for all the other babies. The two have been constant companions ever since.[1]

Members[]

Although the duo primarily consists of the two, there have been multiple other people who shared the same comedic relief status alongside them throughout the franchise.

Legacy[]

Bulk and Skull are the first comedic relief duo in the franchise and have inspired a long-lasting legacy akin to the Power Rangers themselves. As such, there have been other comedic duos inspired by them.

Absences[]

The duo remained on the series as regulars from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Power Rangers in Space, appearing in nearly every episode through Power Rangers Turbo, though would be absent in the following episodes:

Notes[]

  • The only episode that didn't feature Bulk and Skull in Power Rangers Zeo, "The Power of Gold", was also the only episode of that season to feature none of the supporting cast besides Alpha 5 and Zordon. This is due to being too focused on introducing the first Gold Ranger to contain a B-Plot.
  • In Space had them appearing in only 13 of its 43 episodes, making the other 30 the most they've been absent.
  • The 30th anniversary Special Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always only has a billboard photo of the duo, but they do not appear.
