Bob Papenbrook (September 18, 1955 – March 17, 2006) was a prolific voice actor who provided the voices of Rito Revolto in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Power Rangers: Zeo and Deviot in Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy, as well as providing the voices of numerous monsters from the third season of Mighty Morphin through Power Rangers: Wild Force. Fellow voice actors often nicknamed him "Pappy". He was very well known in the worlds of anime and video game voice-overs for his voice acting of "gruff" characters.

Papenbrook married fellow voice actress Debbie Rothstein July 16, 1978. Their son Bryce Papenbrook followed their footsteps in voice acting.

In addition to his work on Power Rangers, Papenbrook was involved in numerous other Saban productions, including Masked Rider, V.R. Troopers, Big Bad Beetleborgs, Beetleborgs Metallix, and Digimon.

In anime, Papenbrook was known, among other appearances, for his roles in Magic Knight Rayearth, Rurouni Kenshin, Tenchi Muyo!, and Flint: The Time Detective. He also provided voices in various video games, including .hack, Ghost in the Shell, EverQuest 2, Vampire Hunter D, and Resident Evil Outbreak File #2.

Other credits including appearances as himself on Greed: The Series and Adventures in Voice Acting and providing voices on the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead.

Death

Papenbrook died on March 17, 2006 of chronic lung complications. He was 50.
