Blade Blaster

Blade Blasters were the personal long range and melee weapons of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. They could be used to fire bolts from long range or be turned into short swords for melee combat.

One example of their use was when Jason Lee Scott fought against the possessed Tommy Oliver. Jason attempted to use his Blade Blaster fire to defeat Tommy, but Tommy was able to use his Dragon Dagger to power up his Dragon Shield and protect himself.

  • In the MMPR episode Return of An Old Friend where Tommy returned to help the Rangers, when he got his power boost from Zordon, he had a Blade Blaster that he never normally had. This may have been a production error, but it may have been added since the Dragon Dagger was stolen.
