Black Rangers
From Power Rangers Universe
The Black Ranger is a designation given to several Power Rangers characters. In the Sentai version of the show, the Black Ranger usually serves as second in command. Black Rangers are often part of the core Ranger team. When the Black Ranger is not in the core five Rangers, this position is usually taken by a Green Ranger. Like the Green Ranger, there has never been a female Black Ranger.

Zack Taylor (Walter Emanuel Jones) and Adam Park (Johnny Yong Bosch), his successor, are the first and second Black Power Rangers in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Adam later on becomes a Green Ranger in Power Rangers Zeo and Power Rangers Turbo. He resumes being the Black Power Ranger in Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive.

An unnamed putty patroller is the Black Mutant Ranger. The putty was given the Black Badge of Darkness and served as Rita Repulsa's counterpart to the Black Power Ranger.

Zane is the Dark Black Ranger. He was unwillingly transformed by Lord Zedd who sought to create his evil counterpart of the Black Power Ranger.
Abraham (Johnny Yong Bosch) is the ancestor of Adam Park from the year 1880 and was the Black Wild West Ranger when Kimberly Hart was transported through time and had to fight a monster in the past. He only held his powers for a single episode, after which the Power Coins were returned to Zordon and Alpha 5 so they could be earned by the Power Rangers in the 1990s.

Adam Park was also the Black Ninja Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Corcus (Alan Palmer) is the Black Alien Ranger in Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers. Took part in the final battle against the United Alliance of Evil.

Trey of Triforia and Jason Lee Scott are the Gold Rangers in Power Rangers Zeo. Trey took part in the final battle against the United Alliance of Evil. Jason was formerly the Red Power Ranger, and later regained the Red Ranger powers in "Forever Red". Although not black by name, the suit was black.

The Phantom Ranger is a mysterious warrior who aids the Rangers in Power Rangers Turbo. Took part along with Blue Senturion in the final battle against the United Alliance of Evil.

- While not a Black Ranger by name, his costume color is Black.
Carlos Vallertes (Roger Velasco) is the Black Space Ranger in Saban's Power Rangers in Space. Carlos was formerly the second Green Turbo Ranger in Power Rangers Turbo.

Psycho Black (Michael Maize) is the Black Psycho Ranger in Saban's Power Rangers in Space. He served as Astronema's evil counterpart to the Black Space Ranger and later as the evil counterpart to the Green Galaxy Ranger. His alternate form is a rock monster with rock-like tentacles.

Mike Corbett (Russell Lawrence) is the Magna Defender in Saban's Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. The original Magna Defender dies while helping the Rangers but he returns in spirit to give Mike his powers.

Dr. Thomas "Tommy" Oliver (Jason David Frank) is the Black Brachio Ranger in Power Rangers Dino Thunder. Tommy was formerly the Green Power Ranger, the White Power/Ninja Ranger, and two different Red Rangers.
