While he and his group have a party to celebrate while have their way with their captives, Azukiarai finds Sasuke infiltrated the party to free his friends. Though Azukiarai used the real chief of police as a human shield, the interference of the man's son Shigeru allowed them to defeat Azukiarai. Though he traps them in his trashcan so can burn them with a bonfire, the Juusho break free and form Muteki Shogun to finish him off.
Azukiarai reappeared, along with all the other defeated Youkai, within the Seal Door after their master Daimaou was finally contained there by the Kakurangers. Behind the Scenes
- Azukiarai, like most of Kakurangers Youkai, is a modernization of a Japanese mythological creature. The creature is traditionally depicted as appearing near rivers, but is depicted here living in a trash can. "Shoki-Shoki", the word Azukiarai ends his sentences in, is a sound traditionally made the creature in the original folk tales. It is the sound of red azuki beans being ground into paste.
